narration: the history of voice recreation and vocoding  is not only shrouded in the cold-war kind of truth but also a token of man's technological preoccupation with mirrors

into an interstitial zone -
an abyss marking mass‘ modal 
iterations, as interference-prone 

as any mental skill held in a vial 
made of human flesh and bone -

method: basic sequence on a minilogue xd, adornments via vc 340, further adornments created by sounds in front of microphones, incl my voice, an interview sample and a field recording taken at a supermarket parking lot.
narration: there are literature tourists following the traces of the likes of Shakespeare and Kafka. some places consider those travellers in two worlds a good source of income. There is also a different kind of tourism on the magic-realistic tracks of the likes of Borges  ;-)

image: copyright jo richter, shot a couple of years ago in Bad Kösen, Germany - there is an irony in labelling - first: there is a German saying: das Leben ist kein Ponyhof - meaning you can not be as naive as a kid on a pony ranch and you have to work to achieve your goals  -second:  this stable is labelled pony ranch - third: there is another label warning of aggressive, biting ponies - therefore, fourth: implying that even if life were a pony ranch,  it would still demand lots of caution ;-)

rising to fight Romans, the powers that be
we presume the naive because we are humans
blank-slate incarnations of pristine imponderability

we are the dusk that dreams of the dawn
with old Jungs repertoire of archetypes serialised
idealising eden‘s lawn, heading towards mere oblivion
we read from the screen: training data compromised

with wide-open, disbelieving eyes
hoping, like Hermann, for magic sponges and wipes
to delete karma capital – a senseless, selfless sacrifice
