ORGANIC

boreale

I love walking in the forest. Especially on a damp, post-rain day, water droplets shimmer on the leaves, and tiny creatures I don't normally see peek out from the ground.
On one of those days, I came across a Clavarium. The mushroom looked like a tiny club someone had stuck in the ground. I looked closer, and its pale cream surface had delicate vertical ridges, with a slightly rounded tip. Surrounded by messy fallen leaves and moss, its simple form was striking.
The Clavarium had no flashy colors or complex shapes. It just stood there, quietly, in its own place. But its silent presence seemed to tell a story about the mysterious beauty of the forest. I crouched down and watched the little "club" for a while. It felt like a symbol of the forest's quiet, powerful life.
Clavarium. The beautiful sound of the word will forever be linked in my memory to that small miracle I found deep in the woods.
