This was my contribution for Disquiet Junto Project 0647: Day Drone

This ambient drone was created using a Novation Peak controlled by an Arturia Keystep 37. Found a preset called “Happy Days” that seemed to fit this week’s theme nicely. The audio from the synth was recorded into Ableton Live where I added more reverb in addition to what the Peak produced. An additional texture track was created using a chopped up sample of the original audio. Used AudioThing Noises on another track for atmosphere. The “bee buzz” tones in some parts seemed to align with the assignment photo perfectly. Happy Drone Day 2024!
