This was my contribution for the Disquiet Junto Project 0579:Memory Serves.

I produced this track back in August 2022 but wasn’t quite happy with the way the mix turned out. This week’s assignment gave me the incentive to re-visit the piece and make some tweaks. Created with the o-o-o script on the Norns Shield along with Ableton Live instruments and Max for Live effects. Globular Cluster NGC 1850 image by NASA Hubble Space Telescope.

Revisiting a disquiet junto recording from 3 years ago - https://soundcloud.com/caustic_gates/disquiet0420-third-quarter - even managed to find the rudimentary graphic score I jotted down for it at the time. 

Voices different this time, but picked a similar bright chord for halfway through.

disquiet0579 - fourth quarter

This track is a new version of the track https://soundcloud.com/rabmusiclab/hoffnung-erfreut-den-traurigen-sinn. The intention is to create a new composition that retains the important elements but gives a new listening experience by shifting the focus.

The guitar-part of @Fnubi was replaced by guitar-loops provided by @roeland11 on looperman. The other instruments were adapted to the new harmonics. Some instruments were exchanged, new instruments were added (acoustic guitar, cello, an additional violin).

[disquiet0579] A Slow Progression Of The Sky Flooded With Light

I decided to re-perfom / re-record my contribution to week [250](https://soundcloud.com/theatlasroom/drone-for-disquiet0250). Most contributions have made heavy use of samples, but this was one of the few based on midi.

I deleted all the existing instruments, piped the midi out to my Eurorack and recorded the results. The original project had a few audio FX chains, so i re-used them with the new tracks and made some more adjustments.

Infected Bubblegum  (Horrordub)

(dispersed signal) versions fragment the original material through granular time-warping, scattering its rhythmic core into drifting pulses and textured echoes. Like a fading transmission from deep space, these pieces unravel slowly, leaving behind only traces of their origin.
