"Galactic Awakening" marks 23-year-old electronic music producer, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Dayne Herndon's 5th release as Starseed. The release is comprised of 4 electronic compositions: "Vega", "Terra", "Reality Jumping", and "Phase Conjugation".

After a life-changing trip to Sedona, AZ in the spring of 2016, Dayne felt inspired to put out an album featuring the tunes that he had composed on guitar during his time there (this collection of compositions later became "Cosmogenesis", his 4th release prior to "Galactic Awakening"). During his month-long stay in Sedona, he had also composed "Vega", which did not make it on "Cosmogenesis," but which he still felt an urge to turn into a full-fledged electronic production. After the release of "Cosmogenesis", new inspirations were coming in, and he knew that in the midst of these potent changes that we are experiencing as an evolving collective, he wanted to honor the idea of our awakening as multidimensional galactic humans, and to reflect our graduation into the greater cosmic community of which we are a part. Dayne put out a few singles in late Autumn of 2016, each single outlining these concepts in its own way, before deciding that he wanted to string them all together as a 5th comprehensive release. Thus, "Galactic Awakening" was born. It is his loving intention that this collection of consciousness-expanding and soul-stirring compositions enrich your experience of life, uplift you on every level of your infinite eternal being, and inspire you to always stay true to who you are.

Tu che dalla mia polvere sei orientato
un tempo si che ti obbedivo passante di riferimento  
è una vita che sospendo il mio giudizio per star bene anche con te 
ma lucidavo le mie armi di nascosto.
 
A che servono gli allenamenti verbali 
dire "no" allo specchio senza riproporlo alla gente  
quando nessun rito di passaggio è da scontare
e il ricorso al buon senso esaurisce ogni mutamento. 
 
(Il mio profilo basso  era cautamente calcolato  
per sparire all'occasione nell'anonimato). 
 
Ma tutta l'energia accumulata nelle giornate che tu 
chiami a carica positiva evapora alle prime ore di lavoro ben pagate  
accanto all'illusione che è la routine 
a produrre subordinazione. 
 
Non ci sono periodi spartiacque,
non c’è portiere che impedisca una qualsivoglia via di fuga 
c’è solo la rabbia disciolta in usi civili  
e un lento rimandare ad anni lì a venire.
