I wrote "Free" back in 2001 when I was going through the divorce from my first wife.  It was included on my MP3.com release "Sleeping with your Hairstylist". This recording was done at my friend Pete's studio in 2003.  Pete engineered the tracks and I did the final mix.  I play all the instruments and sing.

This piece is way too long to be "commercial" or "monetized" on Soundcloud -- I know that. But I compose from my heart. This piece is over 10 minutes in length, and I like it this way. When I was 17, I played guitar exactly like this. No fooling! Iwas in several rock and blues bands when I was younger, and this is how I probably sounded. I lived in California at the time, hence the original photograph of the ocean in California. I hope you enjoy this track. It is very long (over 11 minutes, I think, so kick back and enjoy it.
