IJAHBAR BIOGRAPHY




Ijahbar is born with the  O'Neil Thomas, born 9th of June 1979 in a little town called Truro District, Westmoreland. .

He grew up between frome and burn Savannah. He grew up with his grandmother of both side of the family, my father is from Frome district in Westmoreland.


In his younger days it was very rough his father is from Kingston, Jamaica and his mother is from Western Jamaica.

Sometimes they say he must leave the home didn't even take my clothes are we, whenever he do bad or not in burn Savannah where his uncle will take him to Frome to his father where his stepmothers live, with my three sisters and two brothers. 

He used to attend Georges plane primary school I used to love football so when I leave primary school in Westmorland I go to petersfield comprehensive High School when I was in high school i DJ a lot at his school,They love him.

He was the only outside child, so it was very difficult for him most of the time

He was always on the road looking for food, looking for life. He remember one time He go to a football game from a tender age.

Ijahbar love football,he get to hustle at the football game, when he did drink some  beer, and he will catch them before they drop excitement, he will create in the stands so when, he finished he had four Bug bags,


He really started music at the age of 8 years. There was some rich guys from Kingston come in my little district to keep their stage show.

Every Friday, one Friday he  came from school and they say stage show in the night. 

Early that morning Ijahbar already hide his clothes in the night there were a lot of big men, DJs, They talk a lot of his tunes,


He asked them for the microphone  and he started to DJ, and the crowd started to make a lot of noise, they say give the little boy the trophy and they give Ijahbar the trophy and he went home, and take it to his mother,

Ijahbar used to DJ in the community.

They love him in his community, His professional voice in was in 1997 I went to di plaza  sav 35 Plaza, He met a producer by the name of Charlie X, He heard my friend going on the rhythm and explore the rhythm I voice my first song “Music Yah Man”  and a second one” Glamorous Girl”,  It was playing on the community radio station Vybz 99 FM.

He also do Smosh videos back in the days.





In that year Ijahbar has already left school, so He went to Montego Bay, to play for Wahdada FC,  His first real big stage show is Sting 21st anniversary in those days,  He moved to Kingston, to seek music more professional.

Mr Lange put him on the road shows.

Magnum Road Shows he and his friend Crazy champagne. Something they is  hung up all the posters in Jamaica,

He almost don't get to perform When he reach to Sting in that night, Mr Lange said to him, “You just come in I don't know how you're going to reach up there, but I'm going to put your name on it and so I force my way up to the stage.

He get to perform in those days, dance moves was the team so I sing my dance song, warm up everybody

Ijahbar run his own Production, under th name “Roolings Muzik Production LTD.
