Arianna Finelli alias Arianna Scartozzi inizia a suonare il pianoforte a 8 anni. In seguito frequenta il conservatorio di Bologna per 6 anni e nel 1997 si laurea al DAMS con una tesi su Paolo Conte.
La sua musica si propone a livello compositivo come personale interpretazione dello "standard", mantenendo la sonorità e l'intenzione del jazz e della musica brasiliana.
Suoi brani sono stati usati per documentari, tra cui ricordiamo “Il Coraggio del Boxel” di Andrea Pavone Coppola, presentato nel 2013 al Biografilm Festival di Bologna, e per reading di poesia presso il Castello del Verginese a Portomaggiore (Fe) nel 2000 e per Officine della Poesia 1 a Bologna nel 2018.
Nel 2006 un suo brano, “Embaixo da chuva”, è stato interpretato da Silvia Donati, che l’ha incluso nell’album “Turbilhâo” degli Xangô.
L’ensemble Saxofollia, all’interno del progetto “Bach Plays Sax”, nel 2011, le ha commissionato l’arrangiamento per 5 sax e batteria di un brano di J. S. Bach, intitolato “34CH5”, eseguito negli anni successivi in festival e rassegne.
Nel 2017 ha composto le musiche per il video LIS del fumetto “Nellie Bly”, presentato al museo MAXXI di Roma.
Occasionalmente perlustra altri generi musicali: nel 2002 ad esempio ha realizzato un brano per quartetto d’archi con la progressive rock band Deus Ex Machina, uscito nel loro album “Cinque”.
A dicembre 2020 Irma records ha pubblicato "Fragments", il primo EP a suo nome: 4 brani le cui sonorità si muovono fra jazz e bossa nova.
La stessa etichetta a febbraio 2021 pubblica la sua canzone "Wide" all'interno dell'album "Vortice" a nome di Silvia Donati & Bossa 40. Il mese seguente il brano viene trasmesso dal programma Stereonotte Brasil su Rai Radio 1.
Nel 2022 IRMA records pubblica il singolo “I got to be strong”, una jazz ballad cantata da Renata Tosi. Ad accompagnare la cantante Alberto Borsari all’armonica, Giancarlo Bianchetti alla chitarra, Paolo Ghetti al contrabbasso e Massimo Manzi alla batteria.

Arianna Finelli alias Arianna Scartozzi began playing the piano when she was 8 years old. She later attended the Bologna Conservatory for 6 years and in 1997 graduated from DAMS (Drama, Arts and Music Studies) presenting her thesis on Paolo Conte.
Her music, at a compositional level, is as a personal interpretation of the “standards”, while maintaining the sound and intention of jazz and Brazilian music.
Her tracks have been used for documentaries, such as "Il Coraggio del Boxel" by Andrea Pavone Coppola, projected at the Biografilm Festival of Bologna in 2013 and for the background during poetry readings at the Castello del Verginese (Portomaggiore, near Ferrara) in 2000 and for the Officine della Poesia 1 (Bologna) in 2018.
In 2006 one of her pieces was interpreted by Silvia Donati, including it in the album "Turbilhâo" of the Xangô.
The ensemble Saxofollia, in their project "Bach Plays Sax", in 2011 commissioned her for the arrangement of 5 saxophones and drums of a composition of J. S. Bach, entitled "34CH5", then played at festivals and exhibitions.
In 2017 she composed the music for the video LIS of the comic strip "Nellie Bly", presented at the museum MAXXI of Rome.
Occasionally she explores other kinds of music: in 2002 for example she composed a string quartet with the progressive rock band Deus Ex Machina, which was included in their album "Cinque".
In December 2020 Irma records released "Fragments", the first EP to her name: 4 songs whose sounds move between jazz and bossa nova.
The same label in February 2021 releases her song "Wide" within the album "Vortice" by Silvia Donati & Bossa 40. The following month the song was broadcast by the program "Stereonotte Brasil" on Rai Radio 1.
In 2022 IRMA records releases the single "I got to be strong", a jazz ballad sung by Renata Tosi. To accompany the singer Alberto Borsari on harmonica, Giancarlo Bianchetti on guitar, Paolo Ghetti on double bass and Massimo Manzi on drums.

Laut & Luise is a Music Lovers Club from Berlin && Cologne

Laut & Luise releases carefully selected music on vinyl, individually touched and underlined by a special and characteristic artwork in order to give back at least some love.

Luise herself provides dance music, calm and dubby, still with a definite focus on house and techno.

Aside from the main label, our younger imprint Luettje Luise is meant to be a playground for sounds beyond genres and borders, trying to stay open-minded like daddy Ernst Jandl was.

What is the opposite of little? Lost. A new little sub by Laut & Luise, limited to nothing but a digital playback device and labeled with a mouse crafted artwork. Lost in Luise, for the digital natives and the internet explorers.
