SOP RAP:
Scream Of Peace Rap group of SOP Rap is their name and they are here to add something to the Palestinian rap scene by bringing their complex yet relate-able stories to a greater audience. The two rap group members come from a Palestinian city inside the state of the Israel. Few rappers can rap in more than one language SOP rappers can rap in three languages  Arabic, Hebrew and English

Sop is stressing the common wisdom  you only live once. The group started in 2005, but it was not until 2010 when a studio carrying their name opened in their town. Bring Palestinians living inside a state that do not approve of you can create one emotional and mental mess. Rap is like a therapy for such drowned voices,  it allows them to tell their plight  their struggles and by this process that can heal.

Like many Arab rapers before them, the common themes are of political and social nature. Their most recent song is about getting up after you have been knocked out. The performances of Fadi Mahmeed and Ahmad El Faris will resonate with the many young people who are feeling trapped. Their songs are found on their Mixtape Diaries 2005-2012. While SOP can rap in more than one language, they have chosen Arabic to be their go to language. for starter it's their native language and more people speaks it than say Hebrew.

فرقة "sop rap": 
تتكون فرقة موسيقى الراب العربية المسماة "صرخة السلام (S.O.P)" من ثلاثة أعضاء هم: فادي واحمد وأبو فارس، وجميعهم من مدينة أم الفحم الفلسطينية.

وتعتبر هذه الفرقة من الفرق المرموقة بـ منصة الراب الفلسطيني، وقد بدأت طريقها سنة 2005 تحت أسم (S.O.P) وهي الأحرف الأولى من عبارة "Scream Of Peace" التي تعني: صرخة السلام.

و تدمج  الفرقة موسيقى وألحانا ً مستوحاة من عدة حضارات مع حرصها على أن تكون الألحان الشرقية بكافة الأغاني على إيقاعات غربية  لتتخذ أسلوبا ً مميزا ً وخاصا ً بها.

 تختار الفرقة مواضيع عديدة لأغانيها منها السياسية والاجتماعية ،  تستمدها من  الحياة اليومية، فهي تحمل على أكتافها قضية الشعب الفلسطيني الذي حُرم من الحرية،  وتحاكي أيضا ً هموم هذا الشعب داخل الخط الأخضر فتكافح  العنصرية وكافة الظواهر والمظاهر الناجمة عن التحريض وغسل الدماغ – دفاعا ً عن الحريات والكرامات . 

في نهاية عام 2010 تم افتتاح أستوديو خاص باسم "أستوديو سوب - Studio Sop" في مدينه أم الفحم، يعد من اكبر الاستوديوهات المتخصصة بالهيب هوب في فلسطين ويشمل أجهزة وتقنيات بمستوى رفيع  وبمقاييس عالمية .

تم الانتهاء من إخراج أول البوم رسمي للفرقة بعنوان " مذكرات " وسيصدر إلى الأسواق في نهاية 2012 ويضم نتاجات الكثير من الفنانين المرموقين من داخل فلسطين وخارجها .

شاركت الفرقة بالكثير من المشاريع على صعيد محلي ودولي .. كمشروع "باص الهيب هوب" الذي كان بمشاركة بعض الفنانين العالميين كـ DJ Vega Benetton , Shadia Mansour , Lowkey  والمزيد .. 

 تحظى الفرقة بتغطية إعلامية واسعة تسلط الضوء على كافة مشاريعها من عروض وأغان وأنشطة، كما تشارك في أول فيلم  بعنوان "شبابيك2" للمخرج عمر أبو صيام .

ويتم الآن التحضير لجولة حفلات للفرقة في مختلف أنحاء الوطن العربي، وللمزيد من المشاريع التي تهدف إلى النهوض بالمجتمع   وإيصال رسالة هادفة ملتزمة بشأنه.

German Jazz Award 2018 for the Album Flying Carpet together with Quadro Nuevo
Building Bridges between cultures and to send an indirect message to the audience, creating an positive image about the Egyptian Culture Heritage was the reason why Basem Darwisch founded the German/Egyptian Band Cairo Steps in 2003 .
Cairo Steps merges and combines traditional Egyptian and oriental grooves with modern jazz and classics , using vocal inserts with old Arabic poems . it is a mix between improvisation, classical music and contemporary sounds. The music is influenced by spiritual ethnic music as well as European music traditions and alternates between strong unison rhythms, virtuoso solos and meditative soundscapes. The result is a unique music style and an exciting blend of various cultures
Basem could manage to make Cairo Steps plays the role of the umbrella that has all of the different musical genres and experiences merged together all the way from spiritual chants to modern classics with their own flavor and to pursues the vision of crossing cultural, political and religious borders and building bridges between the occident and the orient. Basem Darwisch’s Vision is to present the audience with a tense spiritual musical experience as language that can help them transcend over their earthly matters and to use the concert to create an atmosphere of tolerance and acceptance of other and different cultures advocating the motto “Music is the bonding force” 
His Vision is also to leave an positive impression about the Egyptian culture heritage through short speeches , visuals and introductions during Cairo Steps concerts in Europe in very well known opera houses and theaters e.g. : Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Philharmonie Berlin, Alte Oper Frankfurt, Prinzregententheater München, Theaterhaus Stuttgart  , Kuwait , Abou Dhabi and Cairo Opera House etc.
