Cutting their teeth from day one at some of the most famous London live music hot spots, The Naked Polaroids certainly hit the ground running, delivering their unique brand of electro/punk/pop with unrivaled conviction. They combine dance beats with infectious hooks and filthy synth passes.

Forming in 2010, one of their first achievments saw the band cover the Toy Love song "Fifteen" as part of a 20-track tribute compilation CD (Stitched Up!!: The Songs of Toy Love Revisited.) It celebrated the songs of New Zealand punk/New Wave pioneers Toy Love, fronted by the great Chris Knox. The album received 4 out of 5 stars from esteemed publications such as "Rip it up magazine, and "Groove Guide".

In March 2011 The Naked Polaroids' debut single "Louder" reached number 6 in the Tourdates UK original unsigned singles chart and was in the top 40 for over 3 months. Both follow ups, including the singles 'Lambrini Girls', and 'People. Process. Policy.' went straight in to the top 10 within days of their submission. In the same month the band was invited to partake in the filming of the Samsung Galaxy Ace smart phone, it was a great success and featured in prime advertising slots on international TV stations.

In September 2011, the boys were invited as guests onto "The Late Gig" Show on Swindon 105.5FM after Malcolm Wood poured praise over their single "Outta Time" and confessed to playing it regularly on his show. During the same month the band was invited to headline Proud Camden's legendary show "Tales of the Unexpected", one of the venue's busiest Friday nights.

The band have recently landed 3rd place in Andy Quirk's podcast, "Hits Of The Near Future", featuring his Top 14 bands of the year, and they also appeared on Recharged Radio's Band Advent Calendar showcasing 25 of their favourite acts from the past year.

My musical journey began in my nana living room, at her piano, which strangely she could’t play. In lack of any real toys it became my favourite toy and I would tell stories .. All the good people lived in the high notes and all the baddies and danger in the bottom ones.. Hours of fun.. Not for the neighbours..
I have always love to play and create melodies. Growing up I became very passionate about films and was part of a local theatre group in London.  When the chance of an agent came at 17 I took it.. I worked as an actress in various tv and film projects for 8 years and whilst loving being part of the creative process of making a film was never quite comfortable in my role within it.. I didn’t feel particularly passionate about being an actress nor that I was especially good at it but felt lucky to be privy to such a wonderful world and working along side such talented artists.. I began writing music in my spare time (lots when you are an actress!)and managed to have my pieces used on a couple of commercials and short films.. One of the commercials wanted lyrics and so I wrote a song called Beasts which they ended up using..I then did a cover of a smiths sing that was used on a commercial which led to being signed to Universal. I felt more comfortable doing covers as at that stage I didm/’t feel I had found my voice musically and I loved the arrangement aspect of covers.. The parts with no singing were always my favourite and I felt no personal investment to the songs as I had not written them.. So freedom in a way..
After that I took some time to write and find my sound and I reconnected with film and with film scores and the beauty of music used narratively and emotively.. These tracks are a reflection of that and I have enjoyed writing them tremendously..
I started writing under the name Slow Moving Millie as it became a bit of a joke within my friends that it had taken me quite so long to work out I should be writing music., I was, apparently, rather slow in the uptake and  the last to realise.

Rapper Ditch is a Hip Hop recording artist from Los Angeles/Orange County, CA best known to music fans for his song “Smack Dat A**” with Shock G and the song “All Comes Down To Money” featuring Chali 2na from Jurassic 5. Ditch (hip hop artist, musician) has worked for 10 years in music. He began in 1999 with a rock band called Trip-Wire and quickly departed from them to design his own style and sound. In 2002 Ditch graduated from Chapman University in Orange, CA only to pursue his dream in music. In 2005 Ditch released his first album “D.i.t.c.h”. In 2007 Ditch recorded original tracks in studio with Shock G, Eek-a-Mouse, Hot Dollar, Cashis, Bishop Don Juan, Dog boy and Chali 2na from Jurassic 5, for his album, “Public Intoxication”. Although a distribution deal for the album was shopped, the album eventually found a home for a 2009 release on I Tunes. In 2010 Ditch continued to work on new music for a new full length album which was third. Ditch also continued to keep releasing new music on his own via a mix tape series. He released 2 mix tapes in 2009 “Never Gonna Stop”and “Clout”. Ditch enlisted celebrity guests Dirt Nasty, Omar Cruz, Beardo and Willy Northpole for “Never Gonna Stop” Ditch is CEO and 50% owner of Lethal Tender Music a company set up to manage and own all of the right to his music. Ditch owns the rights to all of his songs and does not accept third party ownership on any of his songs. Ditch is an official BMI licensed Musician. Ditch was personally selected by Bishop to perform after knowing Bishop since 2004 and recording with him in 2007.

In July of 2010 Ditch performed for over 4,000 people at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Pool concert venue with the band Mystic Roots. Also in 2010 Ditch performed over 33 shows for breast cancer awareness events with David Harrison Levi. The breast cancer awareness Ditch tour saw Ditch performing at such places as: The Highlands Hollywood, Falcon Hollywood, Aqua Lounge, Gonpachi Beverly Hills, and many other locations in the Hollywood area. Ditch started 2011 opening on shows for Kurupt, Yelawolf, 40 Glocc, Suga Free and others.

2011 proved to be a very successful year for Ditch. He started holding his own concert events for up and coming artists to gain exposure. He headlined the 2011 2 day Million Marijuana march Los Angeles which he also executive produced bringing out such friends as RBX, 40 Glocc, Ras Kass and Mac Lucci to name a few. He released a new CD called “Self Made, Self Paid” on I Tunes, has launched an artist development and marketing branch of his company Lethal Tender Music, and graced the cover of both Hollywood Music Magazine and Homegrown Magazine. In January 2012 Ditch headlined 3 shows in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah for the Orion Music Festival 2012. He has also began recording acapella rap sessions on his home studio webcam and releasing them to the public welcoming comments and criticism. He then performed at “Ditch Day” at Mountain High Ski Resort in Wrightwood, CA, held his own 2012 party and performed at the California Sound Nokturnal Car Show. In the Spring of 2012 Ditch performed yet again with Suga Free, attended E40’s private cd release party and performed with Warren G/Bishop Don Magic Juan in Orange County. He then performed at the “Peace In The Streets” Festival at Sam Ash Music, At Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso, and joined reggae band Common Sense for an annual Autism Speaks concert. In July 2012 Ditch was a talent guest at the Playboy Mansion for the 2012 Fifth Bridge Espy Awards launch party. In late July 2012 Ditch performed with WC from Westside Connection at The Venetian in Anaheim, California. On September 9th 2012 Ditch performed at the famous Beverly Hilton ( host of The Golden Globes Awards, and Clive Davis’s Grammy party each year) for Global Independence day. He performed for foreign dignitaries, Mayor Villaraigosa of Los Angeles, Prince Von Anhalt and various other celebrities and royalty. In addition to Ditch releasing his own albums, he also has recently released “Ditch’s Underground Gold Volume I” Cd which features guests; Bishop Don Juan, Kanabliss featuring Crooked I, and Cashis as well as many up and coming artists. The Offhanded is a small band from and in Orange County, California. This young band plays a large array of music from Paramore to Evanescence, from The Dead Kennedys to Green Day and from Shiny Toy Guns to Adele. They also play a growing number of original songs all written and produced by the members. Brother and Sister, Nikki and Sheena Noriega met up with long time band-mates and friends Alec Selfridge and Jarrett Mesa in August of 2012. While Alec and Jarrett were very familiar with each and had played together in multiple bands and just as friends, they hardly knew Sheena and Nikki aside from casual meetings at their high school. Immediately, the group starting playing together, learning together and having fun. The band began practicing once a week, every week. Coming to practice with a new list of songs for each person to learn every week. After a few short months this brand new band had come up with enough cover songs to play a full set at a debut party. They were instantly loved by everyone that came. At the end of their set, they were asked by a friend to play at a Halloween party the next week. The band quickly got to work coming up with another set to play and rocked that party! Locally, The Offhanded has become pretty popular, playing shows at a local high school and being asked to play parties and bars here and there. Although each member has a different musical background and different influences, they always have the ability to come together and make beautiful music.

But there is no stopping opinions. They don’t care about whether we want to hold them or not; they do what they have to do.”

Blending disco, euro-pop, and new wave stylings, Derek Bishop will release his sophomore album Bicycling In Quicksand on April 7, 2015. The ten-song album features Derek’s trademark energy, showcasing bona fide grooves that harken back to the days when the music was funky and the beats were undeniable. Bishop’s gift for connecting to audiences through personal stories, splashed with a plethora of contagious melodies, boosts this singer/songwriter album into the sonic stratosphere blending passionate story-telling with Bishop’s unique keyboard-laden sound.

Bicycling In Quicksand, draws equally from dance music, soul, and ‘70s prog-rock. The new record is deep, rich, and colorful – using a cornucopia of vintage keyboards as the base of the album's sound. Derek blends layers of MOOG, clavinet, wurlies, rhodes, and even toy keyboards from the 70s and 80s, to create a truly fresh sound that recalls the heyday of these instruments,  while putting a strong stamp in the present. The lead single “Baggage” is the artist at his exuberant best: in a little less than four minutes, Bishop manages to evoke new wave, vintage mirror-ball disco, Pet Shop Boys-style storytelling, synthpop, and electronic dance music. It's an exhibition of Bishop’s talents as a lyricist, tunesmith and arranger.

On the cover of Bicycling In Quicksand, a leather-booted Bishop balances atop a wheel while holding a umbrella. It’s a pose that broadcasts insouciance, attitude, and poise under pressure — and a sense of humor. Those are some of the qualities that have endeared Derek Bishop to fans.  Thematically, the album is about having the backbone to drag yourself out of the muck that keeps you standing still. It’s about striving to create and be the best version of yourself all while avoiding the pitfalls of procrastination. Sonically, it’s a game of allusions and innuendo wittingly structured using the best of ‘80s synthpop and late ‘70s disco as its building blocks. The album sounds like someone put the all of 1980s into a blender: the music, TV, the commercials, and especially the video games.

Produced by Jay Braun (Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Japanther), the album features the additional talents of all-star backing band Luis Illades (Pansy Division) on drums, Emily Panic (Foxygen) on bass and Braun on guitar.


Bishop, who up until recently was moonlighting as an art director designing Broadway cast albums, has wrapped his ears and eyes around multiple musical genres to create something new and fresh. “I find music to be an extremely visual thing, so I’ve paid just as much attention to the photos, videos and packaging of my albums as to the musical instruments we played and the style of music.” Indeed, Bishop’s new album Bicycling In Quicksand not only finds him working as the singer, songwriter and keyboardist – but also as the stylist, art director, and photographer.

In the spring of 2015, Bishop will tour with his band across the country in support of this album.

There’s a refreshing purity in the music of Circles, a purity borne out of friendship and the love of musical self-expression done for its own sake. The members of this Chicago-Milwaukee four-piece have been active in numerous bands these past fifteen years (fifteen years?!) (Radar Eyes, Football, Ponys, France Has the Bomb, Space Raft etc.), and like Spinal Tap circa ’67, they’ve “toured the world, and elsewhere,” but in this project, like all good Midwesterners worth much more than a runny PBR turd, they’ve eschewed the bicoastal trappings of showbiz for the workman effort and joy of writing quality songs. What Circles lacks in “marketability,” kitschy 90’s clothing, and two-chord party anthems about the consumption of fast food, they gain in thoughtful and finely polished songs covering everything from death to birth, from cursed lives to the biography of Archie Shepp.  

 On their debut album, Shadowgraph, this purity of purpose shines through in a prismatic and jaunty guitar-organ driven swirl of pensive post-pop. The music is filled with the immediacy and drive that has characterized the members’ 2000’s garage roots, but tempered by the wisdom of the comedy and tragedy of this too-short life. While “All My Friends are Dead” is a driving-direct song about what you think it’s about, “Little Moon” is an achingly beautiful song about a newborn daughter. The album concludes in a spirited cover of Toy Love’s “Photographs of Naked Ladies,” and the overall effect from hearing these twelve songs is the idea that it’s almost impossible to believe that this is a debut album, as it’s so assured and skilled as it is in songcraft. The musical and lyrical space explored in Shadowgraph portends exciting possibilities for Circles, possibilities always rooted in the joy and camaraderie inherent in making music with some of your closest friends.
