    Rick Kraft has exploded onto the Taiwan club scene with his selection of electro, house, dance, and hip-hop. Resident DJ at Club Muse, he is one of the few video DJs in Taiwan making his own video mashups. Rick's passion for music earned him spots internationally and has established a reputation for musical creativity that is not bound by genre.   

    This Vancouver native gathers his influences from 90's artists like Snap!, Bobby Brown, Culture Beat, Sir Mix-a-Lot, Reel 2 Real, and Digital Underground. He predicts artist's next hit singles, dropping the latest club bangers from Pitbull, Chris Brown, LMFAO, T-Pain and Far East Movement, and remix tracks from Jump Smokers, Chuckie and Afrojack. Rick predicts new trends, with euro-house inspired sets, and keeps crowds dancing with Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Katy Perry, while still versed in old school.

    Rick emerged as an event DJ in '01, making mixtapes then compilation CDs.  Playing events in Los Angeles and Japan, Rick became known in the early 2000s. His breakthrough came with Carnegie's; he installed the 4th Video DJ system in Taiwan, made all video media himself and was DJ 20+ hours every week.  Rick's 2011 hard house mix CD landed him his residency at Club Muse. At clubs all over Taiwan, pool parties, Canada D'Eh, school events and charity galas at the Palais de Chine, Rick is the premier special event DJ.

Joe Gonzales is a drummer/percussionist, teacher, writer, instrumentalist and father from Houston, Texas. Joe is versed in a wide array of genres from Marching Percussion, African drums, Latin to Jazz. A meticulous drummer, he puts vital musical soul and technique reaching far beyond his instrument, contributing masterfully to each genre and music selection. Joe's work is greatly influenced by the styles, and teachings of Jose Diaz, Ndugu Chancler, Marvin Sparks and Fausto Cuevas to name a few. Joe credits these great teachers/percussionists/musicians as mentors. Throughout his playing career thus far Joe has managed to pick up 2 Latin Grammy awards with world-renowned La Mafia and three Gold Records with other artists. Joe has been drumming all his life. He played trap kit, and marching drums through his school years, accomplishing numerous awards including All State Jazz Band in High School and College.

When not out touring Joe fits teaching and team building sessions into his busy schedule. Currently, Joe teaches privately, and his passion for drumming inspires him to do his part in the music world by helping others learn the art of drums/percussion. Joe performs West African style on djembe as well as the double-headed drums known as the djun djuns consisting of a family of 3 pitches played on the keikini, sangbon and dunumba. With these drums he travels throughout the U.S doing team-building sessions for major corporations, and schools. Current bands include but are not limited to: La Mafia, JustDrum.com, Oscar Cruz, The Pods, Unlock the Rhythm, Henry and the Latin Players, Jai Roots & the Herb-n-Café Project. Joe’s total arsenal of office tools consists of: Westone In Ear Monitors, Vic-Firth drumsticks, Audix Mics, Toca percussion equipment, Paiste cymbals, and Roland electronic products.
Joe recently started collaborating with DJ'S across america with his acoustic/electronic hybrid set up with percussion.

Anthony Joseph Perry is a mixing engineer with a collaborative, open-minded, energetic approach, aided by his discerning ear and enthusiastic, positive energy. He focuses across all genres, with a lean towards hip-hop, electronic and rock/alternative music. His work has been included in soundtracks and featured on HBO, MTV, primetime commercials and video games. He has also worked on projects for various other television programs and short films. Most recently, Perry’s mixing was featured in the short film Ship of Fools, which was included in the 2014 selection at the Festival de Cannes in Cannes, France.

 

Perry has been playing in bands since he was 14, focusing his early career on forming and playing in Dead Boots (formerly known as TAB the Band), along with his brother and two friends from his hometown. Fans of late 1960s and early 1970s pop-rock, the band plays what Rolling Stone Magazine has described as “bluesy, sleazy, guitar raunch,” and continues to put out new records, which have been recorded, produced and mixed by Perry. The most recent addition to their catalog is Veronica, released in June, 2013. Dead Boots has shared the stage with Jane’s Addiction, Modest Mouse and the Stone Temple Pilots, among others, and has had tracks featured on HBO’s Entourage, MTV’s Jersey Shore and My Life as Liz, as well as on the 2K Sports video game, MLB 2K11, and Oxfam America’s compilations to raise money for the fight against hunger. Perry’s shift in focus from writing, recording and producing to mixing has been a natural progression and has provided him with an insight into creating music that few are lucky enough to have.

 

Perry cut his teeth in the music world early, starting very young as he grew up on tour and in the studio with his musician father. He has been writing and recording his own music since age 14 and possesses an understanding of artistry and music that goes deeper than just mixing and production. A well-rounded musical force, Perry has been working with Pro Tools and analog gear for over a decade and is well-versed in recording both on tape and in digital. His formal artistic education includes coursework at the School of Visual Arts in New York City as well as at the Boston University School of Communications.

The term DJ has changed and evolved over the years. From the start DJs were masters of their craft, and able to entertain any crowd with not only song selection, but mixing style as well. During that time a DJs skill was put to the test in classic head to head battles to see who's skill was superior behind the decks, and who could keep the crowd going on the dance floor.
