According to the Rites and the Traditions of the Coptic Orthodox Church, there are 4 Gospels that are chanted in the Liturgy of the Word, on the Feast of Palm Sunday.

Hosanna in the Highest,
this is the King of Israel,
blessed is He who comes in the name,
of the Lord of Hosts.

He who sits upon the cherubim, 
today appeared in Jerusalem,
riding on a colt with great glory,
surrounded by ranks of the angels.

On the road they spread garments,
and from the trees they cut branches,
while proclaiming with hymns,
Hosanna to the Son of David.

Today the sayings are fulfilled,
from the prophecies and proverbs,
as Zechariah prophesied and said,
a prophecy about Jesus Christ.

The Psalmist School of Hymnology and Liturgical Theology is a branch of educational ministries at Saint Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Melbourne, Australia. 

Established in 2016, the School teaches Hymns, Coptic Language and Liturgical Rites. The School was formed in response to high demands of preserving our Coptic heritage.
