Jasper Pickles Climbs Everest is an audio story exploring the health inequalities of autistic people and people with learning disabilities.

It is made in co-production by Made by Mortals and the lovely people at Macintyre and contains the voices of people with lived experience.

You will meet Jasper. He is 21 years old. He has an amazing imagination. Through listening to this, you will experience what it’s like to walk in Jasper's shoes.

This is a clip from 'Richard's Story' - an interactive audio experience that challenges people to walk in another person's shoes, using the listener's own home as a theatrical backdrop. It has been made by people in social isolation on equipment they have had to hand.

Through listening to this, you will learn a little about the people who have created it. You will also discover Richard and Richard’s lockdown story. Richard is 70. He has a heart condition, diabetes and a mental health condition. He is vulnerable. You will discover things about Richard’s life before Covid-19 and during his time in social isolation. You will learn that he has been a victim of financial exploitation. Richard is a fictional character devised by the company using their skills, imagination and lived experience as inspiration.

This is a clip from 'Meet Callum'. 'Meet Callum' is an immersive audio experience which challenges you, the listener, to walk in someone else's shoes.

Through listening to this and using your own home as a theatrical set, you will immerse yourself into the world of somebody who has been a victim of a loan shark. You will be asked to believe you are somewhere else, someone else or with someone else. You will be asked to see things with your own eyes and with your own imagination.

'Yousef's Story' is an immersive audio experience by Made By Mortals, where you the listener, take a walk in somebody else's shoes and question how you can help.

This is Yousef's story. Yousef is 41. He lives apart from his family, on his own in a bedsit. He has a mental health condition and experiences psychotic thoughts. Through listening to this you will learn things about Yousef's life before COVID-19 and during his time in social isolation. 

"Sometimes the voices tell him what to do, often he can't work out what they mean, or what they say, or what his options are..."

'Yousef's Story' has been created by people with lived experience of mental health illnesses, using equipment they have had to hand during social isolation.

This is a clip from 'Raven's Story', an interactive audio experience that challenges people to walk in another person's shoes, using the listener's own home as a theatrical backdrop. It has been made by people in social isolation on equipment they have had to hand.

Through listening to this, you will learn a little about the people who have created it. You will also discover Raven. Raven is non-binary, lives alone in a bedsit and no longer has contact with their family. Raven has a history of mental health illness. 

Raven is a fictional character devised by real people, using their skills, imagination and lived experience as inspiration.

This is a clip from ‘Adam’s Story’, an immersive audio story that challenges you to walk in the shoes of a young person struggling with their mental health.

It has been created by people with lived experience of mental ill health, in collaboration with professional musicians, writers and health and social care partners.
