Hania Rani is a pianist, composer and musician who splits her life between Warsaw, where she makes her home, and Berlin where she studied and often works. She has written for strings, piano, voice and electronics and has collaborated with the likes of Christian Löffler, Dobrawa Czocher and Hior Chronik. Her compositions for solo piano were born out of a fascination with the piano as an instrument, and her desire to interpret its sound and harmonic possibilities in their entirety and in her own way.

Originally from London, Richard studied at the University of Cambridge and the Royal College of Music, and now shares his time between France and the UK, where he holds a conducting and teaching position at the Conservatoire a Rayonnement Régional de Paris (conducting the Jeune Choeur de Paris and the Maîtrise de Paris), chorus masters the Leeds Philharmonic Chorus and will be, from October 2018, Musical Director of the Cambridge University Symphony Chorus. 

His works are performed globally and have been recorded and broadcast by a number of leading choirs. For many years he was conductor of the Exon Singers and Director of the Hallé Youth Choir, and has conducted many of the UK's and France's foremost choirs. After an early success with the BBC Proms Young Composer Competition, Richard made composition the main focus of his time at Cambridge University, where he studied with Robin Holloway and Giles Swayne. His passion for writing for voices has been influenced by his first career as a countertenor, and one of his guiding ambitions as a composer is to write vocal lines that are rewarding for singers to sing, and melodies that are infectious!

Musicien classique, je pratique l'alto et l'orgue et ai suivi un cycle supérieur d'écriture au Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Mon intérêt pour les jeux vidéos m'a amené à en étudier les musiques dans le but d'en composer, ce qui a occasionné l'écriture des pièces présentées ici. Je dessine également, et ai moi-même réalisé les illustrations figurant sur chaque piste.

Une histoire remplie de notes

Né en 1962, Jérôme LEBAILLIF a été sensibilisé très tôt à un réel éclectisme musical par sa mère, mélomane avertie, férue de musique classique et en compagnie de laquelle il découvre un univers très vaste passant par des genres aussi différents que Pop-Rock, variétés internationales, B.O.F., World, etc. Il débute l'étude de la guitare classique à l'âge de 9 ans en conservatoire puis celle du piano un an plus tard. Adolescent il assiste à l'arrivée des premiers synthétiseur et utilisera avec bonheur les nouveaux MOOG, ARP puis YAMAHA et SEQUENTIAL CIRCUITS... Il poursuit ses études de Musique et Musicologie au sein de la prestigieuse université de Paris Sorbonne.  Auteur et Compositeur, il interprète ses deux premiers spectacles L'Ile aux Oiseaux puis Promenade Étrange pour lesquels la presse l'associe au mouvement des Nouveaux Romantiques. Sa musique illustrative et descriptive, mêlant instruments et styles classique et pop planant fera dire de lui à Nathalie MARCHAND sur Radio France "Au synthétiseur, Jérôme LEBAILLIF distille une musique envoutante et mystérieuse". Il reprend aujourd'hui son voyage musical.
