I walk on words that glitter under neon lights,
Promises in windows, truth just out of sight.
Signs in the dark, a wink from the horizon,
The city talks in halves, in coded revelations.
One foot in the real, the other in a haze,
I read between the lines of all my yesterdays.
The echo of a future whispers in my ear,
Choose the chiaroscuro or burn in daylight’s glare.
If I reach out now, is it a signal or a dream?
Is it a silver thread or the web that pulls on me?
Between the undertones and crafted fiction,
My heart beats like a riff in contradiction.

The world keeps throwing signs at every crossing light,
I tremble while decoding angles of attention’s bite.
If hope’s a glass to fill, I drink straight from the rain,
Between what I am told… and what you won’t explain.
If I tear the veil, is it dawn or just illusion ?
Is it a siren’s cry or the final, clean solution ?
My heart’s an overdriven amp on saturation,
I’m chasing the truest note, the right translation.
