The Canadian label Chez.Kito.Kat Records releases the latest installment of its compilation series "the Four Seasons". This last autumn section is dedicated to more experimental electronic music, ambient, noise and IDM. It brings together 10 North American and European artists around this desire to explore new sounds.

The label commissioned all the artists of the label as well as the artists they invited to play in the Montreal monthly live electronic events TEMPIO NERO and ANALOVE MY LOG. They asked to them a track for the compilation series "Kito Sounds".
Having received many pieces, the label decided to publish this selection in 4 small EPs classified by genre and theme. They will be released each season in 2024 :

Winter >Techno ::::
Spring > Electro & Bass ::::
Summer > Groovy & Downtempo ::::
Autumn > Noise & Ambient & IDM::::

These 4 EPs will be available in digital version distributed by Underscope before a physical publication which will be available at the end of the year.
The 4 EPs were mastered by Christophe Biache, and the artworks by Samuel Ricciuti.
We would like to thank all the artists who accepted this proposal, without their contribution this project could not have taken place.

Sea Creatures EP (Vol. 1)

Mutoscope Records presents an EP of five tracks signed by some of the most interesting artists of the current IDM scene, recognized for their constant innovation and experimentation in their music.

The root of the music of this EP is within the most experimental electronic music, presenting a very clear stylistic variety but being the melodic compositions the common thread. The melodies, nostalgic, captivating and emotive, manage to connect with the listener on the most emotional level.

All in all, Sea Creatures EP (Vol. 1) offers a splendid blend of various electronic styles in the IDM sound assembled into a coherent result. Definitely, check it out.
