Formed in October 2009, the Shabby Tinkers emerged from a Luton music scene steeped in UK hip hop, garage, grime, and dubstep with a burning desire to do something a step aside from the norm. Their experiments - fueled by memories of the Exodus parties in Luton and the toasters and deejays of Luton's underground scene - led them to journey through ragga, dub, jungle, blues, soul, contemporary R&B, and classical and Latin influences to arrive at the distinctive sound that has seen them establish themselves as the #1 live act in the area.

The collective's sound, drawn from a line-up that augments that typical guitar-bass-drums line-up with piano, saxophone, clarinet, and both male and female vocals, draws upon a dizzying array of genres, from the indie-pop intro and samba-reggae verses of "Step Into the Dance", to the jazzy atmospherics of "Summer Sikky", to the classicist roots of "2010 Draw", to the post-Romantic piano playing that eases the organic hip hop of "If I Die Tomorrow" and the early '90s house tribute of "Don't Want Your Love" into life, all driven along by a contrast between modern soul vocals and earthy MCing. Their debut EP on Hat Factory Records, <i>2010 Draw</i>, was released in October 2010 and earned both rave reviews and BBC airplay, beginning the start of their journey to national attention. With collaborations with Clint Eastwood & General Saint for Love Music Hate Racism and BBC Introducing sessions under their belts, as well as gigs at high-profile London venues including Chinawhite, Nambucca, Brixton Mass, and The Barfly supporting acts including The Levellers, Sonic Boom Six, and Dreadzone, both their profile and the anticipation for new material has only grown and grown.

One could be just trollin' ya here but the tunes at this page are all that were channelled of Charlie just before his passing, and for a few years afterward. None of them owe much to his own musical style --- which whatever anyone thinks of that old son of man, is nothing to sneeze at (try Manson's ''Sabor A Mi'' for example --- his jazz vocal chops are well beyond doubt). Some tunes here you will hate more than others but those are the ones you most attentively need to listen to. Remembering in any case that ur own hated 'hate' is against ur own rules of wokelry, unless directed at the 'right' people --- with yer bikelock and foxpiss, natch. Artist, compositor of hard electronic musics. He began his musical adventure very early under the i2 nickname. Fascinated by extrem sounds and the speed, he starts his project Lawrencium to go beyond bpm counters. With Einrich 3600, they think about the possibility of the surdimmensional sound the « Extratöne ». Suffering from the hardteck and frenchcore in France, he is one of the first french speedcore live act to join the european line ups. His first track was published by the swiss label Mascha Records in 2001. His music, powerfull and combined with Noise, shocked the minds and ears. His « No Important » cd proves there's any boundaries in music.
In 2006, he created his own label Destruction on which he signed a split with AIDS (helius zhamiq, korrigan) as the first vinyl release, the countdown is started !

Although influenced heavily by Psychobilly music, the "billy" aspect is rarely heard in the sound of the catacomb rockers.  This caused people to refer to the catacomb rockers as a "psychopunk" band. So back in 2013 I started saving ideas I had. And I gave up but now it’s 2020 and I want to start over so I’m hoping to start recording professionally this time. Remastering and remixing old melodies I recorded before and recording more ideas I just never got to or am in the process of making. This is just a past time for me I love writing. Any ideas can be used upon my permission. I’m very generous would rather hear my ideas become something no matter who takes it farther than me!!
