From a young age, Argentinian DJ Tomas Rodriguez Cayo, simply known as Tomas, has been immersed in the underground electronic scene, drawing deep inspiration from the progressive mastery of John Digweed and the legendary Bedrock Records. His sound is a refined blend of progressive energy and melodic depth, shaped by the hypnotic minimalism of Richie Hawtin’s Minus label, the emotional landscapes of Tale of Us and Mind Against on Life & Death in the early 2010s, and the forward-thinking productions of Marc Romboy and Stephan Bodzin on Systematic Recordings. These influences are just a few among many others that have shaped his artistic vision.

Tomas’ performances are more than just DJ sets; they are sonic journeys crafted with precision, where each transition unfolds like a cinematic experience. His fusion of deep house, progressive house, minimal techno, and melodic elements creates an atmosphere that is both immersive and emotionally charged.

Since 2019, Tomas has been making waves in Australia underground scene, delivering story-driven sets that transform the dance floor into a collective experience, with his signature hypnotic grooves and deep, evolving progressions.

As his presence grows, Tomas continues to refine his craft and expand his reach, staying true to the essence of the labels and artists that inspire him while carving out a sound that is uniquely his own.
