Following on from the success of her 'It's like This, It's Like That' single, Henri returns with an emotive remix of 'Two Bodies (Feat. Emma Louise)' by the Australian duo, Flight Facilities.

The original, which features breathy vocals from Emma Louise, is the dance/pop production we have come to associate with Flight Facilities. Henri has pushed the boundaries of the track one step further; chopping up and looping snippets of Louise's vocals, while adding lush strings and a gorgeous piano interlude to the mix. 
 
Henri's remix will be sure to reignite your nostalgia for 90's-inspired piano house beats. Perfect in both live and intimate settings, you will be sure to have a sweet euphoric moment and take yourself back to Bora Bora beach in Ibiza. 
 
The remix is being released in anticipation of Henri's second single, Only Love Will Take Me There, a brooding underground house track, coming out on Monstertooth Records in November. It will include remixes and a b-side featuring a swelling, cinematic string arrangement by composer/producer Dan Heath (Lana Del Rey), guaranteed to pull at your emotional strings.

Masta Ace is in the house. The New York rap legend, originally part of the famed Juice Crew in the mid-80s (with Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Big Daddy Kane among others), is known for collaborations with artists such as MF Doom, for influencing rappers like Eminem, and is still known as one of the truest rappers alive. Ace made a teenage dream come true for Cord when he recorded an original feature part and hook on top of the soulful club joint ‚Good Old Feel‘.

The scratch & sample workout and the handcut artwork of this release is paying hommage to ‚A Long Hot Summer‘ (2004), one of his many timeless storytelling LPs, where Ace writes reminiscent rhymes in his natural habitat of Brownsville, Brooklyn but is organically relocated into the streets of Berlin Kreuzberg - right next to the good old Robosonic studios, birthplace of ‚Golden Era House‘. This unreleased Black Out version is now boasting the full vocal performance, while the extended 12inch dub was made for the clubs and pressed on vinyl earlier.

Always eagerly awaited, the official remixes to Rodriguez Jr.’s latest album “BLISSS” are finally here. 

Kicking things off in suitable style is long-time friend and respected producer, Timo Mass. Striking a balance between driving dance-floor and a homage to the deep roots of “Blisss”; he carves a suspense laden interpretation, teasing that already iconic bassline into a stomping frenzy of elements in crafted unison; including a resonating vocal mantra - this is a different kind of late-night Blisss...

Whilst the album showcases a blissful soundscape of sounds culminated in his career as Rodriguez Jr., it would be amiss to not pay homage to the raw spirit of the dance. Here, we are pleased to welcome Martinez Sr. to the fore, Rodriguez Jr.'s new techno alter-ego. Applying his ethos to the darker side of electronic music yields unsurprisingly a plethora of beautifully crafted instruments telling a rapturous tale, but this time it’s the strobe light version. We’re excited to see what’s next in store for Martinez Sr., an alias similarly inspired by his family’s Spanish heritage.
