Accompanying the music is a visual installation featuring VJs operating multiple screens, creating a fully immersive experience.

For MNMT 392 Sunju Hargun presents a very special mix. This incredible 2.5 hour journey was recorded in the Japanese mountains at the legendary Paramount Festival earlier this year. Sunju Hargun has over fifteen years of experience DJing, he has showcased his skills across the globe, from space-out sets in jungles to power psychedelic music in abandoned warehouses. From Asia to Europe, Panorama Bar to Organik Festival, Sunju has illustrated how his unique cross-fusion of cultures and musical blends is loved across multiple continents.

Building on his own Thai and Bangkok identity, with Indian and Japanese roots, Sunju, himself a fusion of various cultures across the Asian continents, has been one of the leading regional actors, ensuring that cross-pollination and collaboration have become essential facets of the Southeast Asian scene, with inspiration and energy regularly transmitting between cities and crews.

Beyond his love for DJing and bringing his musically diverse pallet to the dance floors, his labor-of-love projects, Karma Klique, and @siamesetwinsrecords, also are finding an ever-growing foundation in the pan-Asian electronic music scene, fostering human and musical connections across the region and beyond.

fleika grew up during the heyday of Prague’s rave culture, coming of age as a DJ in booths built for a single night only. The Czech techno renaissance formed him, then the newly-born club culture embraced him as one of its main protagonists. The Ankali resident digs anything that kicks, melts or makes one’s mind trip, but mainly thrives on diving into the vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic techno – as deep as it gets.

fleika shared a few words about the mix:
"I always enjoy having enough time to express myself, whether at live events or on podcasts. An hour is barely enough to dive into my favorite places. In this mix, I kept it groovy while exploring deeper territories, reflecting my outlook on life in general."

Since the opening of Tokyo’s club Mitsuki in 2019, he has been a focal point of the venue as a resident DJ, booking agent, and director. He organizes his own parties at Enoshima OPPA-LA, Aoyama ZERO, Hachioji SHeLTeR, as well as performing at FESTIVAL de FRUE in 2020 & 2023, Rainbow Disco Club in 2022 & 2024, and Wonderfruit in 2023.

Toner, who found Liminal Dreams, a one-of-a-kind collective in the current Tokyo scene, has honed his sensibility through his activities, and his ambient-based set, which he performed from early morning to the finale of the four-day event, was a perfect opportunity to fully demonstrate his worldview. The set was full of tenderness that embraced those who were tired of dancing and those who were ready for a new day in the morning. We hope you will listen to his selections once again as he takes on his new residency at rural.

冬が訪れ、冷たい風が吹き込み、真っ白な雪があらゆる空間を満たしていく。
厳しい寒さの中で温かさを求めたくなる一方、外の世界は夏の鮮やかな色合いとは対照的に、ただ透き通る白だけが広がり、目を閉じれば自分がどこに立っているのかさえ忘れてしまうような感覚になる。

そんな北海道の冬は、私の行動やアイデンティティをより強く、鮮明に動かしてくれる。
一面を覆う冬景色は、悩みさえも忘れさせるようで、鋭く澄みきった風が身体に刺さり、そして北の大地のどこか土の匂いを含んだ空気が漂う。
自然の試練が多い北海道だからこそ、その美しさは夏と冬でまったく姿を変える。私はただ、その自然に静かに身を委ねるほかない。

今回の新しいセットは、そんな感覚をさらに追求し、変化し続ける音楽の流れを北海道の大地から届けるものです。
何も形のない音の世界を、より視覚的な体験へと変えることを目指しています。

As winter arrives, the cold wind settles in and pure white snow fills every space around me.
In this deep chill, I find myself longing for warmth, while outside, unlike the vibrant colors of summer, only a clear, white landscape fills my mind. When I close my eyes, it feels as though even the sense of where I stand begins to fade away.

Such winters in Hokkaido stir my actions and identity more vividly than ever.
The winter scenery that blankets the northern land makes me forget even my worries, with its piercingly clear and sharp winds, and the earthy scent of the northern soil.
It is precisely because Hokkaido is a land of many natural trials that its beauty can transform everything between summer and winter. All I can do is quietly surrender myself to it.

This new set explores those sensations even further, delivering the ever-changing flow of music shaped by the land of Hokkaido.
I aim to create an experience where an unseen, empty world of sound becomes something visually perceptible.
