Wata Igarashi has quickly emerged as one of Japan’s leading DJs and producers. He has been exploring the deeper side of techno through well-received EPs on Midgar, The Bunker NY, and DJ Nobu’s Bitta label, as well as standout tracks on compilations on Semantica and Time to Express. Wata is about to embark on his first US tour, playing at the Bunker New York, the Sustain Release festival, as well as Los Angeles and San Francisco. He will be touring Europe again towards the end of the year.

Given his always refreshing output, he has seen no need to completely reinvent himself and instead keeps on putting out his always timeless Techno, spellbinding audiences with his expertly crafted DJ sets and truly inspirational live sets, and claiming his space at the table of the absolute cutting edge of Techno. This exclusive DJ set for Natural Selection is entirely made up of material from himself and his long-standing label 'Search' and we feel honoured to have him involved in the series and bring you this unheard masterpiece.

A Stockholm based artist, Zement Berlin resident and member of Violazioni Sonore agency, Alnö is exploring the deep, hypnotic and atmospheric sounds of techno, inspired by the environment and the sound of nature, Alnö is also the name of her place of birth, a Nordic island of strong elements, powerful surroundings and northern melancholy.

Alnö embraces dark experimental soundscapes of vitalizing frequencies, textures, driving components, rough pulsation and psychedelic influences and her playful, well composed style and well produced, selected tracks signifies her sets.

Italian DJ and electronic music producer born in 1987 in Sardinia, based in Berlin. Label owner of 012.

Claudio PRC is an Italian deep techno specialist who takes cues from avant-garde and ambient music as well as the abyssal echoes of early hypnotic acid and dub. He’s been active as a DJ and producer since 2006 and released his records mainly on Prologue Music, Semantica Records and TGP, of which he is co-founder. From 2018 Claudio is resident DJ in one of Prague’s most valued clubs, Ankali, where he curates the Volumi Dinamici night. In 2020 he founded 012, a new platform dedicated to art and sound research.
