Jesse Michael Barr is an American songwriter, a singer, a guitar player, and a producer.  He creates classic music that will stand the test of time in his special studio in Ohio.  "I think of making music much like a director of a film.  I love scouting and finding the top talent and bringing them to their peak performance.  Casting is the key to making magic in film as it is in music".  

Major influences are Neil Young, The Beatles, Devandra Banhardt.  He is the founder of Off-Guard Records, where he works as a multimedia sound artist.  "I work with digital or tape, usually a combination of both.  The song will tell you what to use if you listen to what it wants".  He actively tours the United States and is always looking for bands to play with and fellow collaborators.
