„Milking Music“ (12') is my first audio piece that works exclusively with field recordings. I take the listeners on a sound journey into a cow stable, where I capture the ceremony of milking cows.
You will hear cowbells and cow names, milking machines, milking buckets, pumps and hoses. When it gets quiter, the work is done and the cows go out to the pastures. 
This mix of sounds has a musical, rhythmic and documentary atmosphere. 

Miri Pelzman (Photographer & Audio Storyteller) lives in Berlin.
She has been publishing radio features since 2018. Her works have been broadcast by Deutschlandfunk Kultur and Swiss Radio (SRF).
