KataHaifisch was born in 2015 as a podcast series on SoundCloud. The original mission? To provide a stage for fresh talent within the electronic music scene. What started as a springboard for newcomers quickly evolved into a trusted hub for established artists and creatives alike.

In 2020, we took the next step and transformed from a podcast project into a fully-fledged record label with a distinct sonic identity. We are dedicated to the deep and melodic sides of electronic music: driving Indie Dance, earthy Organic House, and hypnotic Down- & Midtempo grooves.

Since then, our weekly Thursday podcasts have been complemented by regular releases on all major platforms, curating a sound that works just as well for deep listening as it does for the club. Whether you are looking for fresh discoveries or your next favorite track, we invite all music lovers to tune in, dig deep, and get lost in the sound.

KataHaifisch wurde 2015 als eine Podcastreihe auf SoundCloud gegründet. 
Der Ursprungsgedanke? Neuen Talenten aus der elektronischen Musikszene eine Bühne bieten. Was als Sprungbrett für Newcomer*innen begann, wurde schnell auch zur Anlaufstelle für etablierte Artists und Künstler*innen aller Art.

2020 folgte der nächste Schritt: Aus einem Podcast Projekt wurde ein eigenes Label mit Fokus auf Down-Midtempo, Indie Dance & Organic House Seitdem gibt’s zu den wöchentlichen Donnerstagspodcasts auch regelmäßige Releases auf allen gängigen Plattformen.

That image isn’t just her trademark on the dancefloor. It’s a symbol of her energy behind the decks: fresh, playful, and always in motion. 💫

Born in Munich, she spent part of her childhood in South Africa, a formative time that ultimately inspired her name.  🇿🇦🙅🏼‍♀️🇩🇪 

Behind the decks, this single DJ mom stirs up a real storm on the floor. Her sound is as colorful as a bag of mixed candy , from Minimal Techno and Peaktime bangers to Indie Dance and Psy. Whether techy or dark, the only rule is: it’s gotta bounce. Shabiki loves contrasts, blending driving grooves with delicate details. No filler, just killer. 🌪️ 

As a producer, Shabiki has already made her mark: releases on Alula Tunes, Alpaka Muzik, Subios, TURBO, Dark Face Recordings, and more showcase her range , from playful to hard-hitting, always with heart, humor, and a dash of chaos. 💥

Growing up in Berlin, shaped by a dancing mother and a bass-intensive dad (famous DDR musician), the music means EVERYTHING for Shimanski from an early age.
At the age of five, the keys of a piano were already sensitively operated, at the age of 12 the drum sticks and a drum kit were added.
Shimanski originally started with techno music in 2012. She played in small clubs in Berlin to practice a lot.
Today Shimanski enchants the dance crowd with italo disco mixed with electronic elements, cosmic, house, indie dance and nu wave.
Since 2020 Shimanski has been a resident DJ of the Disco Bizarre crew, which is famous for their legendary shows every saturday at KitKatClub Berlin.

Mr. Ciao believes in energies and frequencies. He brings these to the floors of this world with a powerful sound - sometimes playful, sometimes gangster, sometimes heartfelt, sometimes psychedelic. His sets are as versatile as a prism. For Mr. Ciao music is a channel to transmit emotions and to contribute to the spiritual revolution of our world. Those who feel the music also feel the unity of all beings and our universe.

With cleverness behind the scenes and the right feeling for wild raves, he has also been actively discovering the dance floors of this world as a DJ since 2019 - always with the aim of leaving a fat smile on people's faces... "Ciao" often comes across his lips and those of his listeners as an expression of ecstatic emotion. Fasten your seatbelts, raise the frequency and Ciao!

In March 2025 Mr. Ciao released his first EP “Shadow Work” on the legendary “ALULA TUNES” Label. The EP made it straight in the Top 10 of “Peak Time Techno Releases” and Beatport Top 100 (Peak Time Techno).

In addition to his DJ & Producer career, Mr. Ciao is one of the main organizers of the wellknown "MOYN Festival" in Germany. The festival is famous for its wide range of art, culture and an unique line-up.

Die späten Achtziger in Gelsenkirchen: Das Hoch des Bergbaus ist vorbei, das Zechensterben schon weit vorangeschritten. Doch in einer der letzten Loren wird Arne als Baby im Viervierteltakt von Förderturm zu Förderturm geschippert. Aufgewachsen zwischen Kohle und Stahl, Pilsbier und Punkrock, besinnt er sich in seinen frühen Zwanzigern zu seinen Wurzeln und widmet sich wieder krächzenden Geräuschen und dreckigen Hallen. Zunächst vorne links auf dem Floor mit leidendem Trommelfell, dann ab 2010 Perspektivwechsel hinter die Decks. Nach unzähligen lokalen Projekten, hunderten Stunden Play-Button drücken und Knöpfchen drehen in verrauchten Hallen, war es an der Zeit für frischere Luft.
