The Swiss label presents the first part of their 21st release, which sees music from the Austrian sensations RoyGreen & Protone.

The title cut sees the duo taking on all of their dub influences, laying things down very slow and low, with a bassline which is set to shake up your world. An absolutely huge ode to the power of the bass, this one begins the EP with power, force, and speaker-busting vibrations.

Blocks and Escher give us their debut 12” for Metalheadz, hot on the heels of the pair’s contribution to the Platinum Breakz 4 album which was called ‘Madness’. This release is the archetypical Headz sound. Blocks and Escher have an uncanny ability to capture the golden age aesthetic  whilst  moving head first toward the future.

Pushed to the edge, paranoid, isolated. Razor is a track forced into battle. The intro evokes thoughts of a machine walking across destroyed landscape with an imminent sense of danger, and then when the bass drops we are propelled into battle with the tracks breakbeat edits acting as different opponents. The looping soundscape backdrop of the track becomes the fatigue of battle. We could go on, but we’re sure you get the idea.

We couldn't ever pronounce his real name so Vova, as we call him, has studied sound design and is working in this field. With not even a handful tracks out, this guy has already reached a high level of production and has proven that he's capable to produce quality sounding tracks. Rest assured that's not even his best attribute - as he's one guy that definitely isn't lacking creativity.
The Bokomaru EP starts of with "Juku" a sinister stepper with lot's of switches, drum fills and little vocal cuts to keep it interesting. The title track "Bokomaru" on the other hand is inspired by the half beat 20/20 sound being pushed at the moment. Funky, heavy, bassy... everything you need for a good head nodder. It ties very well with "Pay Me" only that, that one goes a bit deeper but never losses the roughness. And when you're done with that you'll be served the progressive "Overload" which is a journey through the depths of deepnes in what we could imagine as being an intro track to a Doc Scott, Loxy or D-Bridge set.

The names that run alongside Fields stand out within their own right, with underground stalwarts Mako, and McLeod, roller top dog Break, frequent partner Villem (who go under their pseudonym Mute) and Forren, who also makes an appearance. As a collective, they represent many of the artists who helped CIA build their impressive back catalogue.

We've got another wicked exclusive from the Ronin Ordinance camp today and this time they've teamed up with another Dojo favourite as US producer Mark Kloud turns in a cracking three track EP for the Leeds-based imprint. Turn The Cycle comes from Mark's 'Yushan' alias and sees him blending the atmospherics of dark halftime with a driving, techno-infused beat which propels the tune along at a surprising energy given the relatively sparse composition. After releasing 'The Truth' in 2013 on Drum & Bass on Demand 2 and the 'Control EP' in 2014 it's our pleasure to have one of the finest trios in Drum & Bass return to Demand in 2018. The Belgian outfit has always been drawn to the deeper and darker side of Drum & Bass and this latest single is no different. 'The Sewers' is a minimalistic horror driven, half step nodder that kicks your gut, while 'Backlash's bassline is pounding through the rolling breaks like a car drive at 200 km/h. Nobody else quiet does it like them and they're doing it with style. An intensive ride we have greatly missed in our catalogue lately. Welcome back guys!
