For many years, music has had to follow so many rules. So many unspoken guidelines, 'rules of thumb' that must apply for your music to be "culturally acceptable." Well, Extremely Experimental breaks those rules. Forever pushing the limit, Extremely Experimental throws most music theory- and the many rules that come with it- right out the window. 
Some say it is a type of music that "is so bad, it's good." 
Extremely Experimental also pushes the limits of taboo subjects- creating a ruse by risky and highly controversial subject matter in some of the songs. Some theorize there is a deeper meaning behind some of the illogical lyrical subject matter, with truly artistic values- others disregard it as musical nonsense. 
Professor John Bingledordon of Whales remarks;
 "When I first heard the music, I wasn't sure what to make of it... I can appreciate the fusion of genres. From the opening, it's very dissonant and unpleasing to the ears- but slowly the pieces do become more acceptable, forever migrating towards more musical sense. In fact, by the end I almost found myself highly engrossed, involved, and tuned in- which is odd given this is the polar opposite of the feel the piece began in. Which leads me to believe Extremely Experimental  is utilizing the tools of music theory much more so then they claim to be."
Almost as confusing as the music itself is what genre to classify the music as- while Extremely Experimental officially identifies as experimental, one can pick up on traces of different genre elements in each piece of music. 
Paul Hussledorf, a musicologist with years of experience, states the following;  "This is the music of 2030 or beyond. Way ahead of it's time. Eventually we are going to become bored of hearing the same thing. It's all going to be done, it's all been done - so what's left to do? Start mashing all that together. Start breaking the rules. I think it's genius."
The fact that Extremely Experimental is dabbling in multiple genres, with songs ranging far from the normal standards, leaves listeners confused about what exactly they are trying to say or accomplish. Regardless of one's opinion though, there is no arguing Extremely Experimental is doing what no one else is- which is open to one's interpretation of if that is a good thing, or perhaps a very bad thing. 

In no way are these finished recordings. It all contains very bad sounds, terrible playing, no structure, mistakes, sloppiness, everything people dont like in music. If you squint you may be able to hear what it should sound like. 

What you hear is just the actual recording of writing the tune; as you hear it is the time it was written, on that very spot - all improvisation, with little idea of what is going on. Then I just put it on here, as is warts and all.  

You may think all music you hear is like this. It isn't. People listen to only polished ordered music, too much of it. This is not polished music. If you squint you can hear what its supposed to sound like - perhaps.

I write copius amounts of songs, about 1/3 of which get on tape. Of these, they rarely progress past the original recording of the first time it was written and recorded, and they just pile up, many many of them, thousands. Im too lazy or stupid to go back and improve them, structure, play properly, write words, etc, you know all that stuff that people like in music listening, I dont do it. I just write, record the idea, and move on to the next creation. 

So instead of waiting more and more years for finished songs to arrive - it hasnt yet, I don't work like that I've realised - I've decided to just call it for what it is. 

You are free to use, manipulate, play, improve the song, claim it your own, record it properly with structure and played properly by professional musicians and make a million dollars. I don't care. I can always write more, of that I know, been doing it all my life so far. 

Apart from providing a comfortable modest living (roof, food, economical security and a little space from all the nutters or normal people) and the ability to see a few interesting things in my life, and escape being a member of the working poor (working is fine, its the poor bit I dont like),  I have no interest for money, (except a litte bit).

An original Slovak-American anti-drug ballet Children of the Titanic “about love and its death in the flight” was composed by the Slovak renaissance artist – composer, director and scriptwriter, Dusan Rapos, being touched by the tragedy of his friends, whose children became drug addicts and have destroyed not only their own lives but their families lives as well. Renowned American choreographer Christopher d’Amboise from New York rehearsed the work with the ballet soloists and the chorus of the National Slovak Theatre in Bratislava, in the year 1996. The play was performed for several years and was a big success not only according to the traditional ballet audience but was also visited by young people who have never visited the theatre before. Some of them, after seeing the performance, have freely applied themselves to a drug addiction rehab center, what is considered by the creators of the work to be the greatest achievement. 


Children of the Titanic

Setting:
A long time ago, today, perhaps tomorrow,
on the seashore near the wreck of a ship.

Contents:

Act One

The white birds of love and the red birds of death fly on to the scene as two opposing forces which nevertheless must exist together as symbols of life. Their dance is an allegory of the eternal struggle between love and death.

A fisher man and his friends are returning from the sea when he suddenly notices a young girl coming out of the waves. The girl is startled by the wreck of the ship, but soon forgets this, as she and the fisherman fall deeply in love. As the night falls, a gang of drug addicts emerges from the wreck.

The birds of love appear and dance with the fisherman. After they leave, their place is taken by the birds of death, whose dance is a foreshadowing of the coming tragedy.

The drug gang arrives and tries to lure the girl into their world. Though she refuses, she is pulled into their perverse game which finally ends with her rape. Battered and numb, the girl still longs to live in a normal world, but the birds of death mock her prayer and pull her into the depths of the wreck.

The birds of love come to warn the fisherman of the danger to his beloved and he hurries to save her. But when he tries to embrace her, the girl covers her eyes in shame and runs away.

The fisherman is in despair at what has happened. He becomes lost in the whirl wind of a world without mercy, a world collapsing around him. The birds of love try to console him and the girl, fights with the birds of death for her life.


Act two

Life continues... The fisherman is now only a body without a spirit, a man drowning his sorrow. The drug gang now turns to claim him as their next victim. As he fights off their advances, one of the scorned women divulges the secret of the girl's rape. He now realizes why his beloved has left him. He throws himself on the gang in a rage, but is overwhelmed by their greater numbers.

The birds of love call the girl to his aid and she tends to his wounds. Once again, the lovers are together.

The fisherman's friends come out of the ship carrying the pale corpses of the drug gang. Only one of their women has survived.

The girl realizes that her blood has also been stained with the same death. she runs to throw herself off the ship, but the fisherman pulls her away from the edge and takes her into his arms.

The fisherman decides that he must die together with her. When the girl refuses his plea to make love, he runs to the woman from the gang and starts to seduce her.

The desperate girl now understands that death is to be their common fate. She pulls the fisherman away from the woman and the two lovers finally share their love. Their love making, gives rise to a vision of the eternal dance, between good an devil.

The two lovers have their final dance of love and death. They walk together into the ship wreck...

How does one describe a vision as unique when so many and yet so few are absolutely closely connected..yet so far apart...

We will not pump this up as an endeavor unlike any other....its about connecting and exposing ours with the like and reaching past for new...
 
There's vast talents away from the programmed masses and stream of normality...this IS normal for us...

I'ts fairly absurd to think we've something truely original but to admit this and claim this as ours...a part of the force and energy of art and emotion in sound...a part of so many connects and disconnects yet unknown.
 
As part of the apocalyptic RE uprising we bow to the arts and open our souls and ask for merely the same in acceptance as we are all segments of the whole.

I have been in the business for 7 years now. I have worked bars, clubs, private parties and weddings. I don't claim to be the best dj out here, I do what I do because I enjoy it and I don't fit the normal computer dj status. I mix my songs with the best ability I have with the program virtual dj.
