"Lemon Drop Boys" were started in January 2018 by songwriters Alex Dean and Cristian Ferrer. They began making Bedroom Pop songs about relationships and mental health with little knowledge of music making and released their first song "I'll Be Someones" in May of the same year. As the "Lemon Drop Boys" gained knowledge of music through personal intellectual endevors, they created their first album self titled album "The Lemon Drop Boys" in August of 2019. During the making of their first album Alex and Cristian began their journey of self discovery called a "spiritual awakening". Around this time the "Lemon Drop Boys" began learning extensive Jazz Repertoire. In the Summer of 2020 "Lemon Drop Boys" invited jazz musicians Dante Alanis (Drummer) and Emily Conway (Bassist) to join the band. "Lemon Drop Boys" today are creating Jazz Standards for the Pop ear and write songs about their journeys in spiritual experiences.
