The return of the intergalactic Electro wizard! Dagobert Howe's fourth long-player Startopology, released on the German label Dominance Electricity, documents the transition from his former Electro-Breakbeat dominated productions to the genre-crossing Electro variations of his new project MasterArp. 

Covering works since his last release in 2011, the carefully selected songs on Startopology draw the listener into Dagobert's cosmos of melodic and rhythmic playfulness somewhere between Electro, Breaks, Space-Disco and Sci-Fi score music.

"Estructuras" es un EP de 4 temas repletos de bass, de la mano del veterano artista y productor Carlos Sicrock. Sus raíces están en el break y el electrofunk, con influencias del electrobass, y su sonido es el resultado lógico e impactante de ellas.
El productor barcelonés está en pleno auge, con temas publicados en nuestra compilación del año pasado, y con EPs en sellos de renombre como el Subsonic Device de Darxid y Electroclub Records de The Bandit. Este EP es otro ataque de bass de Carlos Sicrock, y nos enorgullece tenerlo en nuestra familia Elektrodos!

"Estructuras" is a bass heavy 4 track EP by veteran Spanish artist and producer Carlos Sicrock. His roots lie in breaks and electrofunk, with influences of electrobass, and his sound is the logical and overwhelming result of these roots and influences.
The Barcelona based producer is on the rise, turning out tracks for our compilation last year, and with EPs already published and upcoming on established electro labels like Darxid's Subsonic Device and The Bandit's Electroclub Records. This is another bass attack by Carlos Sicrock, and we are happy to have in in the Elektrodos family!

Out on April 15th: the 7th individual release, and the 10th overall release on Elektrodos Recordings comes from none other than Macedonian underground electro activist M3taN01a. He released his first EP on Mexican pure-blood electro label Mision 115, and has been putting out a steady stream of the quality deep electro that has since become his personal style, on labels such as the Japanese Anti Gravity Device, English Borg Recordings and Spanish Urban Connections.

On this release, he brings 6 tracks to the electro market that will surely leave an impact. Opening track "Factory System" is industrial electro at its finest: texture through machine noise and eerie atmospheric pads. On "Fake Personality", he takes a cleaner route, with melodic pads over curated beats. "Petrichor" is a mellow electro track, with a deep bassline and typically M3taN01a-style synthlines that tell a melodic story, before going back into the fold with fast and deep, almost Drexciyan "Stupid", full of deep sea reverb and unsettling sound effects. 

"Target Locked" is a work of beauty, an almost melancholic track that is full of splendid melodic texture and growth that leads into the darker and bassy realm of "The Answer Will Come", a track that is a sure promise for a deep, dark, electro future, which keeps us living in excited suspense to see his future releases!

After the success of the first Diode Bridge release: “Diode Bridge #1: Amper Clap meets Robyrt Hecht”, the second release is even more promising. Diode Bridge #2 sees Spanish producer Sigma_Algebra team up with Dutch electro sensation RXmode, to deliver a thundering progressive electro release with exquisite IDM influences.
“Below” is a track forged in the depths of RXmode’s studio. RXmode is the alias of Dutch producer Ronald Hustinx, who burst onto the scene with his Bass Agenda Recordings release “Red Cards” in 2015, giving new meaning to progressive electro. His overwhelming sound has really taken shape over the “Transhumanism” releases that followed, and now he joins the
Elektrodos family with this banger. His rework of the Sigma_Algebra track “Fuzzy Sets” is 8 minutes of dark, brooding and driving electro, a perfect blend of both artists’ styles.
Sigma_Algebra is the Spanish DJ and producer Eduard Jiménez, aka djdg!, a DJ since the 90s. His Sigma_Algebra moniker starts in 2012, when he really gets into producing electro and idm tracks. Since then, he’s released EPs on Japanese imprint Anti Gravity Device and on Italian Digital Distortions. On this release, Sigma_Algebra brings “Below” into the realm of IDM inspired electro, with finicky blips and bleeps over a crisp beat that gives new structure to the rich pads
and ambience of the original track. His own “Fuzzy Sets” features a dry beat, tiny artifacts and rich atmospheric pads, which progressively grow ever more complex in a truly Sigma_Algebra
intelligent dance electro fusion style. This is “Diode Bridge #2: RXmode meets Sigma_Algebra”, this is symbiosis!

The 10th release on Elektrodos Recordings, the record label of the Elektrodos project, comes from northern French artist Georges Loffredo, aka Hissarlik (http://fb.com/hissarlikmusic/). 

Starting out in 2010, Hissarlik was originally a duo. As it evolved, the project gathered influence from Belgian electronic music from the eighties, and minimal techno. Now a solo project, Hissarlik went on to remix for artists such as New Neon, Synthetic Form, Psychosomatik or Vuduvox.

The “Infectious EP” is a 3 track EP that is a near perfect mix of electro and the cold wave and techno influences that shaped the sound of Hissarlik. The title track “Infectious” is icy and brooding, an unmistaken dark electro rework of an originally cold wave track that hasn’t had its like in recent years. “Raw” is what the title promises: a dark, unforgiving track. Tying up the EP is “Tied Up”, a disturbing bassline and unsettling vocal samples, which rounds up a beautiful release of what dark wave electro music should be like.

This is true dark electro, ice cold and brooding. “Infectious EP” is an introduction of Hissarlik on Elektrodos, and we are very proud to bring you this excellent release. Out on Elektrodos Recordings on October 5th: http://elektrodosrecordings.bandcamp.com/
