Pioneering the “Cen Cal Everything” movement, Kay Rich has cemented himself as an influential icon in California and an invaluable member of Q97.1. This unifying project sparked the careers of many artists, merged the region, and gained a wide range of accolades including album of the year honors from the renowned Fresno Bee Newspaper.

Exhibiting superior work ethic Kay Rich has been influential in the success of Grammy Award winning song writer Eric Bellinger, Platinum selling musical artist Sage The Gemini, and emerging artist Problem, Ty Dolla $ign, Iamsu, Audio Push, Fashawn, and Melanie Feonia. Kay Rich has made it a priority to discover and develop new talent in all arenas of music. 

Displaying uncommon flexibility Kay Rich has also developed the “Kay Rich Cares Campaign.” He volunteered more than 200 off duty hours this year to countless community events in Central California.  Kay Rich takes pride in each event because he has witnessed first hand how community service can inspire, uplift, and transform an entire culture, similar to music. Due to his constant work in the area, Fresno State has adopted Kay Rich as the “go to” DJ for all school activities.
