Holger Nielson (District4 / Ragnarøk / Berlin)
Holger Nielson, originally born in the South of Germany, began his DJ career in the first days of the emerging Berlin techno scene.  Since then, Berlin has been his home and mainstay as he grew that into club residencies, record labels, and beyond.
Using his alter-ego “Holgi Star” and his label Kiddaz.fm, Holger had worldwide success early on and was touring regularly.   From Brazil and other parts of South America to Japan, Europe, Russia, and Ukraine, there were few places in the world he did not tour.  Later in his career, Holger felt that it was time for something new and decided to further his sound with a new, purer techno persona, thus “Holger Nielson” was born.
In addition to this project, Holger also runs the label and agency District4 with his old partner DJ Emerson (CLR) a project that showcases another side of techno featuring acts like Thomas Hoffknecht, Aleja Sanchez, and Deas just to name a few.
Both influences together embody Holger’s sound; a great mélange of straight "four to the floor" techno ,in which you hear and feel his long experiences, and his 20 Years of always being in the middle of techno’s ever changing landscape.

Born in the Eastern town ship, Québec, Canada in 1987. Raised in Montréal from the age 2 by his single mother. Always been attracted by reggae music and rastafarian's belif, even in the elementary school. Start to play music at the age of 12 and has never stop since. Ran away from his mother house at the age of 15 because he had a inner rage to strong to stay and follow a regular path. Spend 6 years living as a street kid. He been traveling all over Canada and the states before his 18th birthday where he cross over seas to Europe where he was a hobo too. Crossed to Africa where he had his first Rastafari revelation . Came back to Europe, in Spain where he got arrested and put in imigration jail. Which he spend meditating with some africans holy men who where in jail waiting to get deported. Then he got deported ,shiped back to Canada where he finished his transformation, is revelation to the wolrd as is true self, Fyah root. in 2012 Fyah started his reggae journey and nerver stoped to evolved since then. Fyah start working with Treez maan and the Greenroom studio( a independent, underground studio in south central Montréal,Canada) in 2014. in 2016 Fyah met Seven and the wise production crew and he is working with them ever since.2 videos are avelable on Youtube and a upcoming one will be released in January 2016. blessed love, Rastafari!

	Tim Root is an American Composer, Pianist and Conductor recently returned to Seattle after living in Paris, France, during the production of his debut album Constance and the Waiting.
	
	Trained in composition at UCSD and Mills College by some of the mavericks of the Avant-Garde, he also received early piano instruction from a student of Rachmaninoff. These strong influences, together with his love for complex rock, and free improvisation, inform the music of his ensemble TROOT.
	
	He is also known for his work in the theatre as a musical director, conductor, keyboardist and sound designer, and was an original member of San Diego’s notorious Sledgehammer Theatre. He has designed cutting edge productions of works by Beckett, Brecht, Shepard, Heiner Müller, Charles Mee, and countless others, and over the course of a 40-year career, has over 3000 productions to his credit.

The genesis of creativity often has its origins in misfortune and this was the certainly the case in the birth of Glasgow’s Southside Band The Rulers of the Root. 
Patrick Gillies was given a guitar for Christmas by his wife Nancy, as it turned out only months before she was diagnosed with a particularly nasty type of cancer.  Her illness acted as a creative catalyst and during the long period of waiting and hoping Patrick started to write songs about the situation and how he was feeling. 
Eventually Patrick rather nervously showed these songs to his work colleague and friend John Palmer, a well known Glasgow musician and ‘go to’ session guitarist in town, having played with among others, Love and Money, Deacon Blue, The Right Stuff, and The Kissing Bandits.  John was impressed enough by these early efforts to provide encouragement and this turned out to be the start of a fruitful collaboration of playing and recording. They initially recorded two love songs that Patrick had written for Nancy after her successful operation for the removal of her cancer and these were given to her as a surprise Christmas present.
 Patrick and John worked as technicians at Tramway Theatre on Glasgow’s Southside with another colleague, Chris Quinn and he was swiftly co-opted into playing drums. Chris handily also happened to be a highly regarded Sound Engineer, which was of great benefit when recording their debut Album ‘Porky Dreams’.
 Recently Stewart Moffat has been recruited as Bass Player. Stewart is an old hand on the Glasgow Music scene and has played with several outfits including the legendary Glasgow punk Band ‘The Alleged’.
And as Ian Stewart was with the Stones, Allan French has a special place in the sound that makes the Rulers. A phenomenal Piano and Keyboard Player who the Band frequently turn to when recording and performing.
The Rulers have been hidden away for some time now in the bowels of the recording studio working on their second Album, entitled ‘This Sugar Tit Life’.  
‘This Sugar Tit Life’ is scheduled for release in November of this year, and The Rulers have been coaxed out onto the road to do a series of gigs to promote the new Album.  Do yourself a favour and make a point of catching them. You will not be disappointed!

Cairokee first started by the name “The Black Star “performing their favorite covers in both English & Arabic at various gigs around the country. It wasn’t until later till they decided on the name “Cairokee”; inspired by both the words Cairo and karaoke, and mixing up the two words, meaning the band is singing along with Cairo. The band was later officially formed in 2003, and is currently consisting of Amir Eid (vocals & rhythm guitar), Tamer Hashem (drums), Sherif Hawary (Lead guitar), Adam El-Alfy (bass guitar) and Sherif Mostafa (Keyboard). Cairokee’s sound evolved tremendously from one album to the next, reflecting their goals and continuous ambition to sing along with Cairo, which is a fast paced and ever evolving City. 

The idea of writing their lyrics, playing music and performing live for local and global audiences (all before the age of 30) was a dream come true for all the band members who have always been childhood friends. Their first major hit was “Sout El Horeya” which has over millions of views on YouTube and was ranked a world record as one of the most watched videos in the shortest period of time. Soon after their success, came “Matloob Zaeem, “Ethbat Makanak” and more hits followed.In a digitally ruled world, Cairokee have always managed to come on top with massive smash hits such as “Yal Midan” featuring Aida ElAyoubi, pushing the song to the number one most video in the history of Facebook and eventually lead the album “Matloob Zaeem” to top the Egyptian charts for months. Their second album “Wana Maa Nafsy Aaed” followed in the big steps on “Matloob Zaeem” back in 2012, in addition to single mega hits such as “Ehna El Shaab” written by the legendary Abd El Rahman El Abnoudy. In 2014, Cairokee released “ El Sekka Shemal”, carving a new benchmark in their long road of success featuring collaborations with Souad Massi and the legendary Ahmed Fouad Negm.

Ulf Strandberg is the lead singer and a guitar player in the Stockholm based Americana quintet Root63. 
Root63 have been playing for 10 years or something but still waiting for the first list hit. Between gigs the R63 guys do other things and work day time jobs. 
Ulf works in a bank and when not so, he writes and records in the basement. 
Root63 started as a duo with Ulf and Mikael Atterby. After some time we became a quartet, and now recently a quintet.
