Let Angel Heredia be your guide as the ‘Take A Trip’ EP invites clubbers to catch some rays late in the calendar. The Spanish producer and DJ has taken his bag of beats across the country before letting the world in on his turntable secrets and style, only aligning himself with the best labels and reaping the rewards of A-list support as a result. Alongside his role as label A&R, Heredia is ready to roll again as a Clarisse artist, with the ‘Groovapaluzza’ and ‘Bang Bang’ EPs already in his back catalogue. 
 
With some garage-style skip in his step, Heredia only travels first class for ‘Take A Trip’. The bassline dip that runs throughout is killer, and the snatches of female vocal pleasure are at one with the sun and sea the track has packed its bag for. Throwing in some classic organ bass sounds as well for good measure and with Heredia temporarily getting a touch spikier on the breakdown, ‘Take A Trip’ has got that essential Clarisse holiday hotspot vibe to it. 
 
Featuring a sideshow of beats and pieces propping up a straightforwardly direct dose of the deep and funky, ‘Dozze’ invests in more low end melody, but one which steps like bare feet on hot poolside concrete. Sleekly going about its business, this 4x4 rollout is almost unaware of the percussive tricks, echoes, stutters, beatboxes and fine slivers of exotic vocals Heredia liberally sprinkles into the mix like he’s putting toppings on a huge scoop of ice cream. Crucially these are just the sort of techniques to catch your ear and convert your position to one of appreciation in front of the DJ booth. Release #111 is win-win-win.

Birmingham outfit TRMNL have been a super power in their local scene and the UK as a whole and their label has only bolstered what was already a solid skillset. Having premiered their first outing as a label last year they are now all set to drop a rather personal EP for their third outing.

TRMNL resident SUMU.L who has been with the crew since the beginning has been given a rather intimate musical upbringing by the TRMNL brand and his ‘Skyline’ track has grown to become something of a TRMNL anthem. Morning Light is the new 7-track EP by Naarm producer Prizefight, featuring 4 originals and 3 remixes by Naarm favourites Sam Alfred, Cybernet and STÜM. The EP is a gorgeous arrangement of trance and techno cuts that raise the bar for Naarm's new wave with impactful songwriting, dreamlike production and a distinctly unique sound. Touches of influence from dub, 2-step and prog can be heard throughout the release as Prizefight effortlessly combines these elements without being obvious or overpowering. Closing the release - Sam Alfred, Cybernet and STÜM apply their club masteries to the originals, serving remixes that take the EP to higher ground.

I've decided to focus on music from the FUSE crew, as these guys have really innovated and pushed our sound forward. I've also included music from our friends and the wider community of artists who contribute to my FUSE London and InFuse labels.

London and its rave culture have been at the heart of my sound for many years now. So expect to hear some heavy beats, grooves and some big basslines as Jungle, Garage and classic House come together to form what is now the sound of FUSE.
