The EP features two standout collaborations: hypnotic techno DJ VBK, and Kalyug Citizen, a former metal vocalist whose voice brings raw power to "We Tried". Zaatar also uses her own voice across the EP, adding spoken word, screams, and textured layers that deepen the atmosphere.
The Sound of Z is a fierce, personal statement—bridging underground influences and contemporary electronic production.

On ‘Obelisk’, IDORU sculpts a ritual in motion—an electric hybrid of techno and indie dance where repetition becomes seduction. Anchored by a looping incantation—“all you got to do is move”—the track blurs language into rhythm, until ‘move’ becomes both heartbeat and hallucination. Obelisk’s minimal scaffolding and subtle shifts in texture hypnotically transform the dancefloor into swells of liquid current.

In IDORU’s Let Go, the dancefloor is a time-warped warehouse pumping with 90’s rave heat, slamming the gritty edge of electro against techno's unyielding drive. Her use of nostalgic rave stabs and heavy distortion only begin to carve out Let Go’s sonic satisfaction.
