This piece builds and builds as it progresses to a dynamic finish.
Not written intentionally for a space theme but in my mind I think it lends itself to that genre.  6 ish minutes long but stick with it as it's worth a complete listen.  Incorporates some choir sound, possibly a throwback to my days as a choir boy??!!

On Our Way

This is a chillout piece of music that incorporates elements of the classic Pachelbel Canon tune.  Probably a bit daft to feel this way about a piece of music but I feel quite privileged to have been able to blend my work with the work of such a talented composer from over 300 years ago.  I would like to think that he would like it too had he still been around today!!??
Could be good as a soundtrack, backing music or just a great track to chill out to.
(PS. In the picture I was trying to emulate the pose of Pachelbel, unfortunately my wife thinks I just look bloody miserable!!)

Chilled Canon

A sad ballad/song about a guy who doesn't really know why, but realises the girl he has truly loved for a while doesn't love him anymore.

One Day I Knew You'd Fly

This song was inspired by the relationship between King Henry VIII and his personal Court Jester Will Somers who was around him his entire life.  Henry was known to have said that Will was sometimes the only person who could always raise his spirits when he was down.
We all need a 'Will' in our lives to lift us when we feel particularly down in the dumps so this song can also be a call to your very own 'Will".

Will, You Make Me Smile

Although a rather dark song the lyrics hold relevance to so many situations where perhaps a good friend is suffering in some way and you are desperate to help them through it.
If you think a friend is suffering, talk to them, don't let them suffer alone.

Friend

Originally written for my 3 year old daughter to sing to her mummy.  Who would have thought that 30 'something' years later our granddaughter Ivy who is also 3 years old would re record the song again for her mummy!

Mummy Dear I Love You

An old song from around 1987 but one I thought worth re recording with a slight re write along the way.  Still good lyrics (I think?) regarding the things we say in arguments that could so easily escalate out of control.

Don't Say Something You Might Regret

This is a subtle tune that rolls along gently with sounds to stimulate thoughts and help you drift off into your inner thoughts.  Towards the end a dreamy guitar adds to the mix allowing your memories to drift even further.   Sit back, close your eyes and float away!

A rather sad but 'hopeful' song about a guy who has strayed but realises that all he was actually looking for he already had at home.  Hope you like it.

When I Feel I Need To Cry - MWS

After spending many of my early years hoping to break into the music world the dream just didn't happen for me but I did have some great times, a lot of fun and met some great people along the way and a few good songs did come out of it!  Alas those old songs do now sound like old songs that I might revisit and re record one day.  However, now retired with time on my hands I'm once again getting back into the composing and recording world, although it is a very different world today.  Where did all the reel to reels and cassette tapes go?
Anyway I am putting my new songs on line for anyone who wishes to hear what I've been up to.  I hope you enjoy listening to them.  If you wish to comment on songs/compositions please feel free to do so but.......please be kind, I bruise easily!!
