Soundtrack for the relatively obscure PSP game, known in English as "What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord?". In Japanese as 勇者のくせになまいきだ。

There were no official English translations for these songs, so I used online translators, so they may not be the best titles. Titles are like this: "rough English translated title(original Japanese title)."

I haven't played the games much, but the soundtrack is so relaxing, so I want to share it.

Thelonius Nuit Fenrir is an experimental album built from fragments, improvisations and linguistic hallucinations. The project treats sound and language as unstable matter, where music emerges from collisions between rhythm, voice, noise and accidental meaning.

Rather than following a traditional song structure, the album unfolds as a sequence of sonic episodes. Words break apart into phonetic textures, while instruments move between psychedelic improvisation, spoken fragments and unpredictable rhythmic patterns. The result is closer to a shifting soundscape than to a conventional record.

The atmosphere of Thelonius Nuit Fenrir oscillates between playful absurdity and surreal tension. Fragments of philosophical language, invented words and distorted narratives appear throughout the recordings, functioning less as lyrics and more as raw sonic material.

At its core, the album explores the idea that music and language share the same instability. Meaning stretches, collapses and reassembles itself in real time, creating a listening experience that feels like drifting through a dream where logic dissolves but rhythm remains.

Thelonius Nuit Fenrir is not simply a collection of tracks—it is a small sonic universe where improvisation, semantic chaos and experimental composition coexist.

Jazz trio meets classic rock. Upright bass and drums lays down a swingy and groovy foundation under a guitar inspired by rock heroes like Brian May, David Gilmour, Kirk Hammett, Jeff Beck, Slash, etc. The album has been spoken of as "John Abercrombie and John Scofield mixed with 80's rock- and- 60's surf guitar.

"Although it’s not a “go-to” genre for me, I do love jazz. I especially love when artists modernize the genre in some unique way. Jazz heads that balk at this idea can stick it up their you-know-what's in their stale jazz rooms that pine for the days when people gave a shit. Thing is, people do still give a shit if you bring a new idea to the iconic genre like Gus Moberg has done on his debut album as The Gus Moberg Travesty. He brought in a heavy-hitting rhythm section of Jonathan McCaslin and Jeff Gammon to allow himself to explore rock n roll guitar through a jazz lens. The result is a refreshing reimagining for the 21st century."
