The Jesus and Mary Chain – Down On Me (Janice Long Session, November 1986)

Recorded and designed a big mix of some of my favourite lush, deep and atmospheric jungle / drum and bass trax from the late 90s, progressing from jazzy and dreamy to hard and fast 💿 Evolving from its rougher and more rave-focused predecessor ( - https://soundcloud.com/5atu8ion/xtatic-hardcore-mix ) the atmospheric sound is a truly magical and forward-thinking genre that still sounds like the future, even 25-30 years later .

I was also pretty inspired by original record designs from the genre so I designed a cover for it based on them and a bunch of 3D renders made with 90s 3D software to visualise the mix.
