@airtothebear / Airbear, aka Aaron Choe, is a DJ, filmmaker, and producer originally from the San Francisco Bay Area who has been based in Seoul, South Korea for over 12 years now. His mixes have been featured on Red Light Radio, NTS radio, and Boiler Room. More recently he has been a very frequent guest at Soul Community Radio.

His VDS mix is a sweet time capsule giving testimony to Airbear’s 20 years of record collecting, which started in the corner of prog rock, punk and indie, and then evolved through trading with friends to a focus on soul, r&b, rocksteady and psych when Airbear was super into the mod scene.
