Alien Forcep was a band/duo made up of Clutch and Voidian (Steve Smith) in the early 2000s (2005??). We wrote a few dozen metal instrumentals between some of our old ideas and new material we created on the spot.  We performed several shows in dive bars around Denver before giving it a rest and moving onto different projects.

Diane, this is DDD, This song, is called Blue Rose Cases, inspired by Gordon Cole, of course. We came up with this one on the 2nd night of our One Eyed Jack's open mic residency. Our friend Deputy Andy Brennan decided to join in on trumpet for this one and it came together perfect. For the record, Andy likes to drink sex on the beach. Diane, this one reminds me of a bullfighter's theme. Cooper & Phillip were on their best behavior this night. Not Stoney though, he was "feisty" and was shut off by the bartender. Diane, the food at One Eyed Jack's leave a lot to be desired.
