Stefan du Preez is an indie dance and melodic techno DJ from Stellenbosch who has quickly made a name for himself in South Africa’s local DJ scene. His musical journey began in 2020, and since then, he has become a prominent figure in the industry, performing at some of Cape Town and Stellenbosch’s most popular venues, including Modular, Lido Bar, Hexagon, Club Paradise, Halo, Club 101, and La Lounge. As a resident DJ at Fools Gold Stellenbosch, Stefan continues to captivate crowds with his unique sound and energy.
In addition to his DJ career, Stefan founded The Local Takeover, an event company launched in June 2024, aimed at showcasing local talent to the student community of Stellenbosch. The initiative has already gained significant attention, further cementing his position as a driving force in the region's vibrant music scene

Killer Robot began life in 2006 as a platform to host the best in local and international techno artists and djs, in the process quickly becoming recognized as a pre-eminent dj collective in its own right.

Since then Killer Robot has become synonomous with the staging of cutting edge talent, seeking out and hosting some of the biggest names on the international circuit, often with a prescient ability to... pick upcoming stars.

The list of artists to have graced the decks at KR over the last four years is as impressive as it is diverse. From the dark, bass driven techno of Konrad Black to the delicate patterns of Julius Smallville, the post industrial machine music of Alex Smoke to the future funk onslaught of Seth Troxler, Killer Robot has embraced all of the finest exponents of the artform.

Not content with just booking the talent, the Killer Robot residents themselves have toured locally and abroad, playing a series of influential club gigs as well as all of the biggest festivals in South Africa, with Bruno a semi regular guest in Germany and Ivan being asked to warmup for the legendary Kevin Saunderson in Scotland in 2009.

Damian Woolward growing up with a vinyl house backround sets a unique tone. Mixing is consistent, experimental, always creating energy.   

His sounds and unique mixing has given him opportunities to certain top events and clubs in South Africa, to name a few: 
WITH YOU, XYLEM, KILLER ROBOT, MODULAR, LINKED, ALCAZAR, HOTBOXED EVENTS, THANK ME LATER (TML), HALO.

The sounds curated through striving loops are aimed at creating a strong bond on the floor,  leaving high energy for many. Sets are incorporated with bought music, production of own, and interesting WAX.

With an illustrious journey that began amidst the pulsating beats of house and tech house, Elliot's trajectory in the DJ scene has been one of passion, dedication, and an unyielding commitment to his craft.

His musical odyssey commenced with a profound affinity for house and tech house, where his keen ear for rhythm and melody was first honed. Fuelled by an insatiable appetite for exploration, he embarked on a journey through the vibrant electronic music scene in and around Cape Town, South Africa. It was amidst the electrifying ambiance and eclectic sounds of this bustling musical landscape that Elliot's artistic identity began to take shape.
