Coming from a family of musicians, Fiona Kraft has always been surrounded by music and started to play piano when she was just a child. As a teenager, she modelled for some of the biggest agencies but also worked as a resident DJ in a club on a barge in Lyon named La Plateforme. Music production and the desire to express her soul followed in 2019 and after her debut single ‘Arenaz’ on Tinnit Music she has landed on the likes of Sudam Recordings. She has developed a distinctive style that blends an Afro house vibe with tight beats and has shared decks with Black Coffee, Miss Kittin, Guy Gerber and many more. This new single is a real celebration of freedom. “The Beat Of Freedom is my personal ode to getting back to normality," says the artist. "During the lockdown I wrote extensive lyrics about freedom and dance. After I wrote the synth lines and laid down the drums I asked legendary Italian vocalist Tanja Monies to sing over it.“ The single is deeply immersive, with lithe and elegant drums sweeping you up. Soulful synths dance above the drums and the spine tingling vocal elevates things to another level entirely.

Welcome to my #housejourney, this is a space to show up the concept that I have about my favorite tracks for mixing. 

Being Dj always been my dream. 

When I was 9 years old, watching a Spanish TV music show something happened to me. 

I was watching for the first time in my life a Hip-Hop Dj, I started say to myself: I would love to do that 🔥 and analyzing the possibilities everything goes down. 

My location was almost in Africa and the only way that I found there for a while, it was a delivery books and records company. My mother always was buying books and other products there. 

In stead, I was ordering my firsts compilation records of electronic music. Almost every day, I was working recording tracks from the radio and checking music outside of my town where the possibilities were unlimited if you compared them with my town. 

I reached the teenager time, I felt the curiosity and love listening radio shows dreaming with that again but in my mind nothing was possible.

And few years later, living in Cork, I decided to invest my money in something. Finally, I started by my own  with passion and a dream with my first controller and I couldn’t stop anymore. 

Nowadays, I have been playing in Cork many times everywhere and I would love to follow up this with other cultures and passionated people.
