Mountain
Mountains have an important place in human culture, often associated with divinity and transcendence. 
They serve as a bridge between heaven and earth and embody both physical and spiritual upliftment. 
Gen captures the essence of mountains and reminds us of their majesty, serenity, and resilience.
The trigram Mountain (Gen) is an introverted trigram, it stands for silence, the third and youngest son.
Above Mountain does not tell what happens below with his mother Earth and below it does not tell what happens above with his father Heaven. So, Gen, Mountain connects Heaven and Earth in silence...
About the inhabitants of the mountain.
The Snake is all about Earth. The Snake is immanently connected to Earth. 
The Dragon represents Heaven, it can fly without wings and breathes the clouds. She transcends earthly laws. 
The Tiger stands for life, it represents the element, Wood, Springtime. She protects the village in the valley and lives on the slopes of the mountain.

Half a Date is a musical project inspired by music of the seventies and eighties to the present day.
Our latest projects are performed only on piano and will be about the 8 trigrams, forces of the i Ching, the 8 gates of Bagua.
The atmosphere breathes the 70s and 80s in a contemporary jacket.
The recordings take place in a small home studio mainly with acoustic instruments mixed with old analog synthesizers and guitars.
We are based in Belgium. 
Our music usually also accompanies 3D art-drawn videos, of course these are not available on all platforms.
The latest releases, songs focus on the trigrams of the i Ching and are performed entirely on piano alone accompanied by 3D art. They are calming in nature.
So, here we are, please enjoy our music.
