In this song, the singer reflects on a relationship that has ended, the good parts, and where things went wrong.  Surprisingly, the singer takes ownership of her own failures in the relationship, showing a sense of responsibility for the unravelling of the love the characters once had.  In the bridge, Vandi Lynnae explores thoughts of, "what if I'd..." and explores a different scenario that could have been if she'd only done things differently.
