Ssero is one of the most prolific producers of new minimal-tech Barcelona scene. He already released in labels like Deeperfect or Revival NY so we have a perfect timing for his EP debut on the label. First track of the release is “Badd”, built around a powerful beat, heavy bassline and cool vocal slices. Rising UK star Alisha took this elements and made a stripped back remix with acid vibes. “Dirty Talk” is putting name to the release and defines what is Sse-ro as producer: textures, detailed FX, pristine sound and good balance bet-ween groovy bassline and smart vocal sampling. Last but not least we can find “Summer Games”, where a huge bassline is the main element of the story. Powerful release!

Ecuadorian musician, sound engineer and producer Andre Salmon collaborates with Teddy Wong, Jorge Andrade, Le Roi Carmona and Michael Joseph for their first collective release on Hot Creations. The three-track EP is a rumbling journey through club-ready tech house, shaped by glistening beats, thick basslines and groovy melodies.

The creative process was lengthy, but eventually, the group got there in the end. “The inspiration and idea behind this EP came from movies and old vibes,” says Andre. “It all started with a call from my friend Teddy Wong, who developed some grooves and sent them to me. I started working on it with Jorge Andrade for the third song on the B-side, and I came across Le Roi Carmona. He sent me a loop, and then I passed that to Michael Joseph, who started working immediately on the idea. Then he sent it back to me for the level-up.” The title track simmers with a chunky bassline and a giggly vocal sample, in tandem with Spanish lyrics and a catchy melody. Co-produced with Teddy Wong, The Wonx follows suit with a more laidback mood and a twinkling synthline. Snappy percussion and glitchy vocals add a clubby feel. On the flip, Andre joins forces with Le Roi Carmona and Michael Joseph on La Piel De Salmon. A weird and wonky melody ensues, aligned with Hot Creations’ signature take on house music. Ethereal Spanish vocals build tension in the breakdown before erupting into a colossal, bass-heavy groove.

Ecuadorian musician, sound engineer and producer Andre Salmon has fifteen years of experience making music and producing sounds across the dance music spectrum. Drawing influence from punk rock, hip hop, and ambient, he’s released on labels like Drumcode, Suara, Area10/Ultra, Hottrax, Leftroom and many more. Mexican artist Teddy Wong heads up the label Barrio Chinesca Music Club, supporting sonic material by artists based in Baja, California and Mexico. Brobot Records, We Jack., Sagmen, Name Dropper, and many more imprints have platformed his house-led sounds. Ecuadorian muli-tasker Jorge Andrade does it all — DJing, producing, sound designing, writing and consulting. The CEO of MD-Studio blends a myriad of genres, from jazz to Chicago house, and has released on Rave Cave Records and ARRITMIA, amongst others. Le Roi Carmona is Costarrican DJ and producer. He’s released straight-up tunes on labels Codigo56 Records, Complex Textures and many more besides.
