Schitzoph0nik is a gender fluid (and genre fluid), DJ and Vocalist who specializes in funk and bass, and whose focus is diversity and harmony. Mixing all sorts of styles of music together, and with a background of music theory in Jazz at VIU, and a love of Blues, Reggae, Ska, and Funk, the goal of this diverse musician has always been to blend the edges of many different musical worlds and try to bring people together through music and dance! The idea that emotion can be expressed to the audience through performance has always been at the forefront of this artist's mind, as they attempt to take you on a musical journey with their mixes.

I write, produce, mix and record music. I have played in several groups including The Emerald Sun, The Idle Threats, The Herd, Rebel Camp Radio, Sourwood Trio, The Band With No Name, and Big Sky. I was drum captain for Dalton High School Marching Band and a member of the Chattanooga youth symphony as a percussionist for 6 years. In addition, I have played in countless trap orchestras for musicals and productions. My studies include theory, percussion, classical, rock, R&B, african, indian, Cuban, brazillian, latin, hip hop, progressive, indy, jazz and big band musical training. I have studied with many famous artists including Jeremy Hummel from Breaking Benjamin and Mousey Thompson of the James Brown band. The instruments I play in order of ability are Drums, vocals, all percussion, bodhran, piano and other keyed instruments, guitar and bass.
