Think I heard this before. Great tune, would probably benefit from a different bank of sounds. This choice of sounds seems like GM or Soundcanvas. Try the same track with some VST just as an experiment.  It's somewhat robotic in the velocities.  Hope you ok with my observations.

Nice composition and instrumentation. The melody would be very suitable for good lyrics.
