♫ NEVERGLOW - Make It Work
The follow-up to the bassline bendiness of ‘Instafamous’, Eindhoven’s NEVERGLOW return from telling social media to check itself with the thudding low ends of ‘Make It Work’. More bass house sent to twist sub woofers inside out, stepping and climbing like an electrified spider while gooey boss baby lyrics lay down the law and a vocal line takes it back to Double 99’s ‘RIP Groove’ hollering at Tina Moore, this is all good clean fun until NEVERGLOW’s levels start going into the red: cue much sharpening of elbows and the dropping of jaws. 
 
Always good value for backing up their mission statements, NEVERGLOW have harvested ‘Nature’s Finest music’ since 2018 while telling the world to “remember the name and be prepared”. The Netherlands pair of Frans Meulendijks and Joris de Corte have struck a chord with David Guetta, Tchami, Afrojack, Tiesto, Sander van Doorn and Oliver Heldens, riding the waves of dancefloor soul food and instant energy release.  
 
Signed to Be Yourself Music this year, you can bet life will never be dull when NEVERGLOW are around and that their flame will burn bright for years to come. ‘Make It Work’ says it all –roughed up club sounds getting the job done.

A familiar face to some and a new one to others, Shadient pushes boundaries in his own sound and subsequently in the electronic world. Breaking into the scene in 2014 with a sound that defined a genre in electronic music, the 26 year old artist based out of Essex has long dedicated himself to crafting a sound that is truly his own. Whether it was the heavy and distorted electronic tracks of his early years or the introspective and melancholic pop he created during 2020, Shadient’s sound has always been something uniquely expressive to him — more interested in self expression than in riding trends. This relentless dedication to self expression has garnered him support from luminaries such as Porter Robinson, Rezz, Madeon, RL Grime and more.
    
The past year has seen a return to form for Shadient. In his word:     
“I took a little bit of a break from electronic music the past few years, taking time to write and release some more introspective pop music. While I enjoyed that, I think it’s good to have some music that sounds like a middle finger.
  
The new stuff is defined by a sound that’s visceral, violent, and rough around the edges – immensely heavy tracks meant to be played out at high volumes.”
    
The arsenal of music he’s released lately backs-up that sentiment: 2023 saw Shadient release an EP on Gud Vibrations, Slander and Nghtmre’s label, a collaboration with Rezz for her IT’S NOT A PHASE EP, a debut single on Sable Valley, RL Grime’s label, and a remix for Nitepunk with long time friend AWE.     

Shadient looks to continue refining his sound into 2024, with new music and touring plans to come.
