Merging the violin with techno live performances, LuizFribs has emerged as one of the promising names from the new generation, collecting supports in an ever-growing list from the kinds of Amelie Lens, Kobosil, Perc, Regal and SPFDJ. His signature sound brings raw and straightforward techno beats alongside tribal, percussive and groovy influences from Brazilian traditional rhythms and the oldschool sounds from the 90s and 2000s. Some of his most notable works has been out in labels like Agora, Etruria Beat, No Mercy and Gomboc. A violinist since his very early years, Fribs incorporates the instrument into techno on a very distinctive and unusual way, giving it a touch of modernity and brutality.

Counting on some analog and digital machines to improvise new tracks alongside the performance of his known ones, the result is a dynamic and impressive live act that was described by the blog Music Is 4 Lovers as “breathtaking”. Also performing as a DJ, his high-energy selections reinforce Fribs’ taste for the oldschool sound, always mixing and layering the modern techno with classic and groovy stuff.

✈ To celebrate this new episode, we are proud and delighted to welcome the talented DJ & producer : Uun. 

Uun's techno blends widescreen grayscale imagery with propulsive dancefloor pressure. Whether crafting what Hardwax dubs "straight ahead techno juggernauts" or deep, introspective  tools, his work is grounded in a masterful command of atmosphere and texture.

Uun developed his interest in fringe sounds as a guitarist and drummer in his hometown of Kansas City before shifting his attention to electronic music in 2012. This led him to relocate to Detroit, where he spent seven years pushing deeper into the underground techno scene, refining his production and performance methods. Between the Midwest and several periods in
Berlin—another city he's found a deep connection to—he's honed a style that's allowed his music to nimbly navigate between different subgenres, "quietly infiltrating" the genre from multiple angles at once.

Uun's sound and his ability to mold it into a variety of forms has captured the attention of lauded techno labels like Mord, Semantica, and Soma. On his own Ego Death imprint, he pushes past genre confines and deeper into his music's underlying themes, exploring existentialism, duality, and the role of the artist in the modern era. His first full length, 2022's Derealization, interrogated
dreams through rebuilding memories of liminal spaces, and on his latest Ego Death release, 2024's Platform Decay, he laces his tracks with a poignant criticism of social media-driven cultural homogenization while doubling down on his own uncompromising sound.

As a live performer, Uun distills years of his studio practice into cathartic sets that build off his productions while pushing them into exploratory new territory. His live show has taken him to legendary clubs like Berlin's Tresor, Tbilisi's Khidi, Detroit's Movement Festival, and Brookyln's
Basement, and alongside the decade-plus of releases under his belt, it's safe to say Uun's infiltration of techno might not be so quiet for much longer.

@oscarmulero's Warm Up welcomes Colombian techno master Adriana Lopez with this brilliant EP, five tracks that expose her own approach to techno sound, apart from temporary tendencies, with a character that is scientific and abstract and therefore timeless by definition.

This EP is a well-crafted combination of roughness and distortion with introspection and calm. It escalates from the glitchy pulses of the title track of the EP to the beatless and self-defining Quietly, with three sound missiles in the middle.

Going Further is the third danceable exercise: metallic and merciless, deeply rooted in the finest UK tradition, pure pressure and machine funk mashed together.

Premiere: Adriana Lopez "Going Further" - Warm Up Recordings

Born and raised in Rome, Luigi Tozzi is undoubtedly one of the most prolific and outstanding talents of his generation to come out of Italy. Slip into any record store worth its salt, or clubs from Tbilisi to Lisbon and you’ll find traces of his work there; his signature sound has sold its share of records true, but also deeply influenced the work of many of his contemporaries. His expansive compositions intimately tied to the space they’re heard in, circling in perfect arcs below the water’s surface, where sunlight becomes scarce and a connection with sound paramount. Reformulating not only dub. techno and ambient, but a trove of memories diving off the coast of Sicily’s neighbour Salina (and with the help of analog digital tools, VSTs and controllers during live performances), Tozzi has developed a mastery for hypnotic rhythms like nothing you’ve heard before. His close working relationship with Swedish output Hypnus, as well as Outis and Non-Series have pushed his aquatic sound to it’s absolute limit, creating a world of poignant textures that have given his genre the gift of new horizons. Here he visits the Podcast for an epic 128 minutes that delve into his abyssal world, haunting rumbles and immersive techno, a ghostly, shimmering live-set recorded at Bassiani.

This 4 track EP consists of two tracks by Öspiel and another two by an Öspiel x Schwefelgelb collab. Sequences moving between accentuated percussion and dynamic melody loops over a massive basement of cutting beat grids. Conveying an impression of the reckless brutality of an unstoppable mechanism covered by a cheerful vibrancy, this release is still shaping up in a palette of various shades: sustained and soothing in ""Provider"", groovy and uplifting in ""6-APA"", aggressive but playful in ""Again"" and uncanny but bouncy in ""Bloom"".

You'll find those cinematic elements and breaks, which are so typical for Öspiel’s sound, as well as the melodic parts which sound somewhat between organic and synthesized. And you'll hear Schwefelgelb’s rawness and minimalism, which makes each single sound stand out.

Despite a subtle echo of EBM’s decay here and there, this release is moving forward in its very own redirection by adding Hypnotic, Groovy and Ambient notions to it. Last but not least the sophisticated mixing and sound design give this release an omnipresent powerful drive.
