Rintrah is DJ, producer and music professional Jacob Howard. He has made his name as the music and media manager at the iconic Section 8 bar in Melbourne’s CBD since 2008, seeing it rise to a place of unique importance in the city’s musical landscape.

Beyond hosting well known night INBTWN every Thursday night for the past 5 years, Rintrah has hosted scores of local and international artists, organised and been at the helm of Section 8’s unique laneway festival-type events and 2014’s inaugural BATTLE 8 DJ Soundclash.  

Hailing from the windy streets of Wellington, NZ, but now based in Melbourne, Australia; Rintrah DJs and produces a deep, diverse and explosive brand of Bass, Hiphop, House and Future-music, built on the experience of over 10 years DJing and collecting music. HIs infamous sets in Section 8’s famous carpark setting have set many tongues wagging and booties shaking over the years; balanced by a careful approach to mutating genres and the darker arts of mixing that belies the party-thumping vibes he can create.

Mary Allen:  She was born on the east side of the infamous Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  After 18 years she walked out in her i. miller shoes with nothing but a box of wine, a mouth, and a dream.   Now she's yelling in your face.  Not much has changed.  

Tanja Andic:  With her early years spent training in smoking and assassination she solidified her place in history by offing a certain South American dictator with just a pack of Lucky Strikes.  Tanja has been spotted across the world smoking cigarettes.  In the adventurous cities of Paris, Mexico City, and Lawrence, Kansas, Tanja has left her trail of smoke and broken hearts.  Eventually she needed to find other hobbies and the organ cried out to her.  She now weds her two loves in any smoking venues we play.

Ike Hart:  World reknowned Celtafarian, born to two bluesgrass musicians, loves to lay down those funky reaggae licks, but not in this band. The most recently added member, Ike really makes the band sound like a band.  

Eliot Gordon:  Part Man, Part Elephant, all Party Animal.  Scoured the nation for home, but his wild ways were only accepted here.  The Eliot Gordon Experience can be found in many bands and this incarnation is just chunkin on the guit box.  

Ian "Dolomite" Stemper: Once a fast talking pimp walkin' 110th street, now shoved into the body of a skinny, punk rock white kid, Ian brings his former self back to life with his bombastic drum beats.  He has been to the chocolate city, he has eaten the rat salad.  He has come back to burst your ear drums and open your eyes.  


Michael Cortese, grew up in Babylon, Long Island but became a grown-up in the high deserts of Arizona. Well, as much as he could. Now a 50-something writer, spoken-word poet, graphic artist, infamous videographer of the YouTube channel Mykeru Media, too frequent podcast and stream guest, stage and voice actor, IT telepresence and multi-media professional with a degree in Analytic Philosophy. He is an atheist without being an asshole about it, and the same as a skeptic, empiricist, and none-too-grim existentialist, left-libertarian and inadvertent optimist. He is an avid cyclist, gym rat, hiker and practitioner of survival and primitive skills.  A divorced, single disillusioned romantic he lives in Arlington, Virginia and would rather have a wire brush up the urethra than date, much less remarry.

..it all started from our love for music.

Back in the mid 80's i was just another "record store rat" (allow me the mall rat paraphrase here).Hanging around all Kypseli's & most downtown Athens record shops finally i had the chance to get a job in the infamous New Sound Records on Fokionos street (now Fokionos Records).

By 1995 i made the move & opened my own record store , Sonic Boom in Kypseli, Athens. A tiny space of just 11 square meters initially , an addition of a small attic a couple of years later and finally ,in 2000, a relocation in a proper 50 square meter store in Syrou 32 street, Kypseli that still houses what was once just a music adoring kid's dream.

In 2002 we launched the first Greek online second-hand record shop , Usedrecords.gr and since then we have also managed to do business via three of the most important global market places in regard with the music business (Discogs, Ebay & GEMM).

What still keeps us in this job is that we are proud of what we have achieved so far,our love for music ,the unique feeling of running a record store and the positive feedback from all around the world. Talking about feedback you can always check ours on a third party source such as Ebay & Discogs. We are too proud of it to keep it hidden.

All items in our store come from four sources : Our retail store,our European & American network of partners , the internet & independent labels/artists. Therefore the variety of our stock is breathtaking, the quality is 100% guaranteed and our prices decent.
We love equally vinyl records & compact discs. This may sound a bit “heretic” as far as the cool thing is to adore vinyl & consider CD useless but take a couple of minutes to think of how many great records have been pressed firstly on CD and repressed on vinyl much later. Even worse, some never made it for a vinyl pressing. You must be ready to abandon a huge amount of great music if you think that CD do not have a place near your stereo. And we are not!

Irish artist Aidan plays a style of energetic folk-rock moulded by ten years of travelling and his Irish roots. His debut studio album, “Le Grand Discours”, will bring to mind the likes of John Martyn or Elbow.

Born and raised in Dublin and currently living in Bruxelles, the road that took him there has been considerably longer than the distance between the two cities. Infected with the travel bug from an early age, Aidan was quick to strap on a guitar, jump on his bike and set off on a variety of adventures throughout Europe.

Writing, recording and playing his way across nine different countries, Aidan would wake up some days as a farmer, some days a scuba-diver and some days as a sound engineer - always singing and clocking up the kilometers on his bike. As his travels continued, he had the opportunity to meet and play with artists as diverse as Bobby McFerrin, Damien Rice, Conor O'Brien (Villagers) and Antoine Wielemans (Girls In Hawaii). Some of these collaborations made it to tape, some to stage, and others no further than the kitchen table, but each was important in forging his continuing path.

His new album, “Le Grand Discours” is a culmination of this journey: A series of eleven snapshots; eleven intimate, yet high-energy performances; beautifully and carefully orchestrated with all the colours of his travels. The album features guest performances by many of the characters he has met along the way, lifting its lyric with string, wind and vocal arrangements and set to the solid backbone of the Italian Weather Ladies, a group of specially selected musicians who accompany Aidan on his musical quest.

An experienced musician with hundreds of shows under his belt, Aidan has also recorded and toured around the world with Irish Meteor Award Winner, Wallis Bird, as well as releasing his own live album, “Live and Sans Souci”, with his collaborators, the Italian Weather Ladies, and being selected by Music Network, to represent Ireland in the 2008 Biennale in Italy with his previous musical vehicle, “Lord Altmont”.

 “Le Grand Discours”, released with Hazelwood Vinyl Plastics / Rough Trade, will remind you of Elbow, Nick Drake, John Martyn or even Villagers. Aidan is one of those rare musicians where the energy he evokes in his performance seems to come from some deep and unknown place, so close your eyes and allow yourself be taken away...

Aidan propose un folk-rock énergique qui tient tant à ses racines irlandaises qu'à 10 années passées sur la route. Son premier album studio, « Le Grand Discours », rappelle John Martyn ou Elbow.

Dublinois d'origine, Aidan vit actuellement à Bruxelles. Féru de voyage depuis toujours, on l'a vu parcourir l'Europe à vélo, guitare au dos... Dans 9 pays, il fut fermier, ingénieur du son ou homme-grenouille. Sans jamais cesser de chanter, de jouer, d'enregistrer ni d'écrire.

Sa quête musicale croise entre autres celles de Bobby McFerrin, Conor O'Brien (Villagers), Damien Rice et Antoine Wielemans (Girls in Hawaii).  Toutes ces rencontres (sur scène, en studio, ou simplement au coin du feu...) sont essentielles à ses yeux.

Son album "Le Grand Discours" est un point d'orgue de ce périple. 11 titres, 11 instantanés aussi intimes que ravageurs, savamment orchestrés aux couleurs de ses voyages. Certains de ses compagnons de route apparaissent sur l'album et l'agrémentent de vents, cordes et choeurs.  Sur scène, Aidan est entouré de son groupe : les "Italian Weather Ladies", également omniprésent(e)s sur les enregistrements studio.

Musicien expérimenté, Aidan a foulé les planches européennes des centaines de fois, en particulier avec Wallis Bird (lauréate du Meteor Award).  Il produit en 2011 son propre album en public "Live and Sans Souci" et représente encore l'Irlande à la biennale 2008 de Music Network en Italie avec son ancien projet "Lord Altmont".

Hello, Stone Mad Crew here. We're two of Ireland's loveliest lads; Dha Rat & The Dirt. We're based in the infamous walled town of Fethard, Co.Tipperary and have deep connections with our Celtic roots.

Dha Rat was born on a thunderous night in mid-June, 1989. He survived the abortion attempt, but was orphaned by his parents after a fatal mountain climbing incident just three weeks after his birth. Rat was left mid-way up the mountain for almost 72 hours before being rescued by a clan of feral mountain folk, who raised him as their own. The years slipped by as Rat grew into a slender young man, hungry for adventure. On the night of his 14th birthday, Rat murdered the family who took him in as a baby and began his trek for freedom, which would eventually lead him to a quiet village in the heart of Ireland.

The Dirt's life began in a small town just outside Normandy, France and was brought up by Merle and Nathalie Pariseau. He was enrolled in a very prestigious private school and was destined for great things. At the age of 13 though, Dirt was expelled from the school after it emerged he had impregnated over 30 of the school's pupils and staff. His mother and father kicked him out of their home for bringing shame on the famliy. Dirt made his way as a shoe-shine in Paris, and on one Spring afternoon, he was polishing the boots of one Ernan Britton who took the young lad under his wing and brought him to Fethard.

The universe brought Rat and Dirt together so their creativity could flourish with one another.
