Nice somber mood, very emotive performance

Musically this is really beautiful I would however consider a different vocalist as much as I like and respect the passion you've put into this I feel the vocal is holding it back from being truly special. If you don't have anyone else to do the vocal part I could mix the vocals in a way that would certainly blend in a more cohesive way for you if you like? Bravo

Un grand merci à Lena pour cette fabuleuse interprétation, sa voix est à mon goût une des meilleures que j'ai pu entendre .. 
"Mathieu" est le héros du film "une place au soleil" de rené VAQUIER, j'avais utilisé à l'époque "vocalise" pour obtenir la voix que l'entend sur la musique originale, mais la voix de Lena apporte des émotions supplémentaires, une couleur différente, une sorte de magie .. pour reprendre les mots de mon ami Steph OUNA, c'est comme si il y avait un instrument supplémentaire !!! 

Cette version a été faite le 14 Mars 2019 en même temps que la version soft et mise en ligne le 7 Mai 2019 en hommage à mon père, pour apaiser un peu ma peine qui ne cesse de grandir, il repose en paix depuis le 7 Mai 1992.

This song is about the counterpart to love: hatred and the associated need for revenge and retaliation. 
Another collaboration with my son Freddy (played parts of the guitar and percussion). And my attempt to play the piano as the main instrument and to accompany my singing with it.

That takes some doing, since Lane was the mainstay of both The Small Faces and The Faces before forming his own rough and ready - and yet also undervalued - band in the mid-seventies, Slim Chance. Sadly, Lane is long gone, but his talent lives on. So here's to Ronnie, and I hope you enjoy my take on his cynical if comically romantic ballad, vinyl edition...

Deutscher Singer-Songwriter über fünfzig Jahre alt. Seit fast vierzig Jahren schreibe und singe ich Lieder. Mein Hauptinstrument ist die akustische Gitarre, aber ich mag auch Perkussionsinstrumente (Cajon, Maracas, Gurio). Ich liebe es, melancholische und poetische Balladen zu komponieren. Aber manchmal schreibe ich auch (schwarze) humorvolle Songs, Jazzstyle und -Rocksongs. Meine Hauptsprache ist Deutsch. Aber in Zukunft will ich mehr Songs auf Englisch und vereinzelt auch Französisch schreiben.
In meinen Kompositionen bin ich inspiriert von Leonard Cohen, John Lennon, Jacques Brel, Van Morrison und Bob Dylan. Auf meinen Platten spiele und singe ich alles alleine. Meine Vision für die Zukunft ist es, Musiker aus verschiedenen Kulturen zu finden, die gerne ihre Tracks mit mir teilen wollen.
Mein persönliches Mantra ist ein Satz, der von Paul Mccartney auf dem Beatles-Album "Abbey Road auf dem Track "In the end" vor fast Fünfzig Jahren geschrieben wurde:

German singer-songwriter over fifty years old. For almost forty years I have been writing and singing songs.
