Σtella is already known as the most characteristic female voice in the Greek electro-pop scene. After many collaborations and guest appearances (My Wet Calvin, Sillyboy, Coti K., Expert Medicine, Nteibint, Sad Disco) and two side projects (Fever Kids, Chest) it's time for her debut self-titled album.

The world of "Σtella" unfolds in 10 tracks where love for the 80's is present, synths are bolstered by funky guitar and dynamic bass and disco beats and colorful pop textures embrace the unique vocals of Σtella. The album was recorded in 2014, Σtella has written music and lyrics and has played most of the instruments, while it was produced by Σtella and Nteibint. The tracks "Detox" and "Picking Words" are already favoured by radio producers and the album is expected to be among the best pop albums of the year.

"Σtella" is out on yellow vinyl, cd and digital album from Inner Ear.

Η Σtella είναι ήδη γνωστή ως η πιο χαρακτηριστική γυναικεία φωνή στην ελληνική electro-pop σκηνή. Μετά από πολλές συνεργασίες και συμμετοχές (My Wet Calvin, Sillyboy, Coti K., Expert Medicine, Nteibint, Sad Disco) και δύο side projects (Fever Kids, Chest) ήρθε η ώρα για το ντεμπούτο album της με τίτλο το όνομά της.

Ο κόσμος του “Σtella” ξετυλίγεται σε 10 κομμάτια όπου η αγάπη για τα 80’s είναι εμφανής, τα συνθεσάιζερ ενισχύονται από τους ήχους funky κιθάρας και δυναμικού μπάσου, τα disco beats και οι πολύχρωμες ποπ υφές αγκαλιάζουν τα μοναδικά φωνητικά της Στέλλας. Το album ηχογραφήθηκε το 2014 και η ίδια έχει γράψει τη μουσική και τους στίχους και έχει παίξει τα περισσότερα όργανα, ενώ την παραγωγή υπογράφουν η Σtella και ο Nteibint. Τα κομμάτια “Detox” και “Picking Words” έχουν ήδη αγαπηθεί από το ραδιόφωνο και το album αναμένεται να είναι ανάμεσα στους καλύτερους ποπ δίσκους της χρονιάς.

it's definitely more raw than anything i've made before.

this one was a result of a strange mix of pain and hope. it's that middle place where love doesn't really have a place to go.

still, you give it anyway - like a puzzle piece you hope someone will complete their full picture with.

Have always loved the Chemical Brothers... Some tracks on the new album (Born In the Echoes) have a great vibe and feel but I am not sure that the album goes somewhere new... What about the experimentation and envelope pushing... Anyway, I made this edit because I love the vibe of the track but wanted to give it that random edge that the chemical brothers can also do so well.. Crescendo ending of course :) I hope you like it....
