Sirus Hood Biography 

Sirus Hood is a French artist. Age 10, his love for House Music was at the time fed by his older friends, giving him mixtapes recorded in a legendary club in Algiers. Few years later, he moved to Paris, and started his DJ career age 18 when he purchased his first vinyl turntables.
He quickly became a regular DJ at every Parisian club.
The journey continues, as he started to become a self-taught producer, preparing his new project under the name that we know today: Sirus Hood.

After refusing to do social media when the project started, he insisted on building his audience purely through the music and word of mouth first. Once these foundations were built he opened his socials with an instantly huge response from the public. A testament to his following. 
His music is influenced widely from the 80-90s’ Chicago House movement from warehouse & loft parties to the whole Balearic sounds of Ibiza.

Sirus Hood first releases on CUFF including “Welcome To The Hood” EP in 2014 and Dirtybird including “Third Eye” EP in 2016 kickstarted his name. 
Sirus Hood also released on labels like Rawthentic, Cajual, Sola, Wow!, Under No Illusion.

In 2020, his release “Rip Tide” EP on Jamie Jones’ legendary label Hot Creations marked a major step forward to his career. 

Few weeks later, Sirus Hood launched ‘Mood Edits’ on Bandcamp with Manda Moor, a concept of limited series of edited tracks available during a month and then deleted to be replaced by new volumes. He had this idea after realizing that in a world where a lot of DJs or listeners are digging rare cuts, the biggest problem of music nowadays is that it is too available. ‘Mood Edits’ is repeatedly supported by the heavy weights of the scene like The Martinez Brothers and Loco Dice.

DJ residencies in Sankeys Ibiza, Eden Ibiza, Ministry Of Sound in London, Social Club then Showcase in Paris gave him a platform and opened doors to wider audiences all around the globe. From Europe to South America, from Australia to South Africa, Russia to North America, passing by the Middle East, his travel patterns underline his ability to work with different crowds and cultures while illustrating his cosmopolitan, universal side. To him - music is one language and unit.

When Sirus Hood isn’t on the road, he spends most of his time in his ‘laboratory’ like a scientist to his music. He satiates his hunger of knowledge through research of new sounds, with his impressive studio gear collection. He challenges himself on every new track with different recipes. In the end, his goal is to produce tracks that sound different from each other.

Today, his work is regularly supported by big names in house music like Jamie Jones, Nina Kraviz, Marco Carola, Paul Johnson, Claude VonStroke… He frequently appears in the charts.

North London-born singer-songwriter and rapper Wauve specialises in afrobeats-infused R&B, but doesn’t shy away from implementing genres from across the board. Originating from the small African country of Eritrea, Wauve’s mission is to create a new genre, based upon a mix of trap, with a pop structure and R&B influences. Incorporating East-African sounds, while paving the way for a whole new era in music.

Lyrically, he incorporates raw emotions and exposes vulnerability in his music and will continue to do so throughout his musical journey. Exposing his true self and creativity. Various influencers have had an impact on Wauve with regards to production, but his originality and unique flair continuously shines through and shows his diverse range.

A fixture in the Cleveland music scene for over 4 years, Ralphie currently has worked with several artists as well as clothing lines. He’s helped launch , establish or design almost every clothing line in the Ohio region, not to mention his own “Team North” brand.  Perhaps most famous for his image and signature two tone colored “juice“ haircut, he is a veteran with a wide variety of experience, having performed at big venues such as the Agora, and has opened up shows for Shy Glizzy, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Dae Dae, PnB Rock, Three 6 Mafia, MGK, King Chip, and more.  He’s an artist who goes the extra mile and refuses to be put into a category, continuously giving us new vibes from “Same Way” to “Nah Nah Nah” to “North Messiah Flow” . He’s currently expected to drop his debut mixtape “ Winning Season” In June 2017.

It all started when I was 8 years old and I heard my first mix tape. It was a crazy dj mix off of Ja rules single "holla". Since then I was very fascinated with the harmonics of music.
My parents are old school. Everything they listened to was from 1983 and many years before that. So I was stuck in the bliss of golden oldies every car ride to the store. One day my dad played a song and the beat shook me. The Delfonics' "Ready or Not" persuaded me to get into making beats. I was 11 at that time.
I wanted to be a dj at first. Back in the 90s Dj Clue and DJ Capri was the man. I used to take trips up north with my family and every time we get close enough my brother will say "put it on hot 97" and the dj's will have the radios going crazy.
In 2005 I made my debut with producing. I couldn't dj because I didn't have the funds to dj so I went to pursue the glamorous life of beat making. I forgot the name of the software I was using. I was a piece of crap until I came across FL Studios. It was a slow start at first but practice makes perfect. I was shy as ever, I never let anyone listen to my beats until I had some years under my belt.
Now I'm one of the best producers in my neighborhood. Trying to further my dreams and go to school to become an audio engineer. Right now I'm working with various artists in the 856 area and a few heads in Philly.
Very proud at what I do, I love every beat I make. I put my all in every time my headphones comes on.
